Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari Course: Top Tips for Booking Tickets
While preparing for our Singapore trip,
I initially planned to buy separate tickets for each of the
Singapore Zoo, River Wonders,
and Night Safari.

But when I saw that the combined admission for just one adult
totaled 152 SGD (~$127), it made me hesitate.
If you're planning to visit all three parks,
there's really no reason to buy individual tickets.
Book with the Klook Mandai Multi-Pass
visit the Singapore Zoo during the day
River Wonders and the River Cruise in the afternoon
and Night Safari in the evening.
This itinerary is the BEST!
Even if you don't visit all five parks,
especially if you're traveling with kids and not staying for two days,
this is definitely the BEST way to do it.

Exploria | Indoor Digital Experiences | When Concerned About Heat and Rain |
If it's your first visit to Singapore with kids,
and you only have one day to spare,
the Zoo, River Wonders, and Night Safari are a safe bet.
That's because these three parks are close to each other, making travel easy,
and the animals you see, along with the viewing styles, don't overlap.
The Zoo offers expansive outdoor areas and a tram ride,
River Wonders features indoor sections and aquatic creatures,
while Night Safari involves searching for nocturnal animals
in a dimly lit forest.

Even visiting all three,
it felt fresh and new,
without feeling like we were seeing the same type of zoo experience.
So, once you've decided where to go,
what about the price? Which ticket should you buy?
Comparing Prices: Individual Tickets vs. Klook Multi-Pass
*Prices as of July 2026
Booking Method | Adult Price |
Zoo | 49 SGD (~$41) |
River Wonders | 45 SGD (~$38) |
Night Safari | 58 SGD (~$49) |
Total for 3 Individual Tickets | 152 SGD (~$127) |
Klook 1-Day Multi-Park Pass | ~$108 |
Klook Mandai Pass 2 Multi-Parks |
~$79
3-Park Multi-Park
~$109
Even comparing three individual tickets to Klook's 1-day Multi-Park pass,
you'll see a difference of ~$22.
The Klook Mandai Pass
lets you choose 2 or 3 attractions,
and you can even split your visits across different days
within 30 days of your first use.
So, if you prefer to explore one attraction leisurely per day,
or visit Night Safari and then
Singapore Zoo and River Wonders on separate days,
the Klook Mandai Pass is definitely the way to go for more savings!
However, if you're planning to visit Singapore Zoo, River Wonders,
AND Night Safari all in one day,
then purchasing a Multi-Park pass will actually be more economical.
What's more, if you're feeling energetic, the Multi-Park pass offers even greater value as it can also include
Bird Paradise or
the Rainforest Wild Adventure, if you wish to go:)
Singapore Zoo Itinerary

While a Singapore Zoo 'open run' (arriving right at opening) sounds great,
if you're planning to stay until the Night Safari,
you'll be there until evening.
So, I'd recommend arriving around
10 AM to 11 AM,
or even after lunch for a more relaxed pace:)
Especially given Singapore's hot and humid climate,
exploring outdoors can be more tiring
than you might expect.

Morning ~ Afternoon: Entering Singapore Zoo
In the morning, I started by looking for animals I really wanted to see,
such as rhinos and tigers.

The zoo is actually much bigger than it looks,
so trying to cover every area on foot can be quite tiring.
Luckily, there's a free shuttle service within the zoo,
so I highly recommend using it to save your energy!
(Shuttle cost: FREE)

Browsing the souvenirs was also a lot of fun!
If you love animals, these visuals will definitely tempt you to open your wallet!
3 PM
Moving on to River Wonders
River Wonders is smaller than the zoo and
has many indoor and shaded areas,
making it a perfect spot to visit after lunch.

The aquarium here is also quite substantial,
offering plenty to see and enjoy!

Everything is themed so well,
which made exploring even more enjoyable.

The giant pandas are so adorable, they
It was absolutely captivating!

If you include the Amazon River Quest (river cruise),
you'll want to set aside about 2 to 3 hours.
While the Amazon River Quest is a paid attraction,
you can ride it multiple times without any restrictions,
so if you're with kids, definitely enjoy it 3 to 4 times!
However, please note that it will be closed for maintenance from August 31 to September 30, 2026.
If you head straight from the Zoo to the Night Safari,
both kids and adults will be utterly exhausted – trust me, you'll need a break! 😢

Before the Night Safari kicks off,
find a restaurant or cafe and
rest for at least an hour –
it will make your evening adventure much more enjoyable and less tiring.
We highly recommend grabbing a seat and refueling at spots like
Starbucks, McDonald's, or KFC to get your energy back! :) 🥲

7:00 PM
Night Safari

Once inside the Night Safari,
we hopped straight onto the Safari Tram.
A little tip: if you can, snag a seat on the right side –
you’ll generally get a slightly better view of the animals!

Both the tram and the walking trails operate from 7:00 PM,
and the Night Safari keeps its gates open until midnight, so you have plenty of time to explore!
If you're exploring with little ones, it's a good idea to see the animals from the tram first,
rather than embarking on a long walk down the dark trails right from the start.

We actually rode the tram as soon as we arrived, and then went for another ride!
The Night Safari just before sunset and the fully dark Night Safari offered two completely different, yet equally delightful, experiences.
While it’s true that it gets harder to spot the animals and
take good photos once it's dark,
the atmosphere was incredible – it truly felt like being on a real safari!

Don't forget that the evening shows also require prior booking via the app,
so be sure to plan your timing perfectly to catch those fantastic
performances!

It turned out to be far more eventful and enjoyable than we ever imagined!

For the journey back, we opted for a Grab ride, which was super convenient! :)
For four people, it came to a very reasonable 30 SGD.
After spending all our energy exploring,
the thought of taking the shuttle bus and subway back felt like too much of a challenge.
