Looking back at the first half of this year,
every single moment was filled with so much happiness.
But among them all, nothing quite compared to my "Singapore trip"!
It was easily my absolute favorite getaway 💖

I want to send a huge, heartfelt thank you to CEO Iron of '3 Hours Ago'
for putting together such an incredible fam tour! 🙏🏻
Since I had been looking forward to this Singapore trip for so long,
I actually extended my stay after the official tour ended.
I spent some extra solo travel time exploring all kinds of amazing attractions and famous spots!
Today, I want to share a few of those absolute must-visit places
with my guide to the "Top 5 Things to Do in Singapore."
If you're planning your own Singapore itinerary,
be sure to keep these incredible spots in mind! 💖
📍 Gardens by the Bay
Singapore
📍 Night Safari
80 Mandai Lake Rd, Singapore 729826
📍 Merlion Park
Singapore
📍 Singapore Flyer
30 Raffles Ave., Singapore 039803
📍 Jewel Changi Airport
Singapore
1. Gardens by the Bay
The very first spot on my list is
one of Singapore's most iconic landmarks:
"Gardens by the Bay"

Completed in 2012, this massive, futuristic garden
is an absolute must-visit destination
for anyone traveling to Singapore.
Supertree Grove
As the most symbolic area of Gardens by the Bay,
it features 18 massive, tree-like vertical gardens.
While exploring the Supertree Grove itself is completely free,
walking along the Skyway that connects the two main trees requires a ticket.

From up on the Skyway, you get a stunning, close-up look at the Supertrees
along with a panoramic view of the city skyline, which makes it super popular.
But a quick word of warning... if you're afraid of heights, you might want to skip this one! 😭
When I first visited 9 years ago, I went up without thinking...
and I practically crawled back down in tears. ㅠㅠㅠ

Every single night (at 7:45 PM & 8:45 PM), the Supertrees host
a spectacular light and sound show called 'Garden Rhapsody'.
Even if you don't have time for a full, leisurely tour of the gardens,
I highly recommend making time to watch the Supertree light show!
Because it's incredibly popular, the area gets packed early
with people grabbing spots on the ground way before the start time.
It's best to arrive a bit early, secure a good spot, and enjoy the magic.
Flower Dome

This is the world's largest glass greenhouse,
located right inside Gardens by the Bay,
and it was even listed in the Guinness World Records back in 2015.

Once you step inside, the dome is divided into different zones
showcasing unique, exotic flowers and plants from various continents.
It's home to rare flora that you don't see every day,
making it a favorite spot for both locals and travelers alike,
so it's almost always bustling with visitors.

They host different seasonal festivals and exhibitions throughout the year,
and just last week, a brand-new exhibition called "Impressions of Monet"
finally opened to the public.
I love Monet so much... I'm so bummed it wasn't running when I visited! 😭
Cloud Forest

This glass conservatory dome is slightly smaller than the Flower Dome,
but it's packed with lush, high-altitude tropical plants.
Because it is kept at a cool, refreshing temperature,
it's also one of the absolute best spots
to escape Singapore's midday humidity and heat! 👍

Running through September, they are hosting a special orchid exhibition
featuring Cambodian orchids set against the backdrop of Angkor Wat,
allowing you to admire an incredible variety of beautiful orchids.

One of the main reasons this spot is so famous is the "Cloud Fountain"
It's the second-largest indoor waterfall in the world,
and as you make your way down from the peak of Cloud Mountain,
you can even enjoy the breathtaking view from right behind the cascading water.
When booking your Gardens by the Bay tickets,

2. Merlion Park
The Merlion is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the tail of a fish,
and it stands as the ultimate symbol of Singapore.

There are actually 5 officially recognized Merlions in the city,
but the iconic statue here at Merlion Park
is the original masterpiece crafted back in 1972.

While the Merlion statue is highly symbolic on its own,
making it an essential stop on any traveler's list,
the stunning backdrop of Marina Bay Sands right across the water
has made this the ultimate hotspot for photos.

While seeing the Merlion during the day is great,
I personally think the night view is even more spectacular!
If your schedule allows, I highly recommend visiting both during the day and at night.
3. Night Safari
If you're traveling to Singapore with kids,
the "Night Safari" is a must-visit spot!

As the world's first-ever nocturnal zoo,
it’s incredibly popular as a staple Singapore travel experience.

Home to over 100 different species of animals,
you can explore via tram or walking trails to get up close and personal
with all kinds of wildlife.
But I have to admit, hearing the roars of predators echoing through the dark
definitely gave me a little thrill of fear! 🤣

along with handy tips, check out my previous post!

4. Singapore Flyer

If you want to catch a panoramic view of Singapore
from way up high, the best way is
definitely the "Singapore Flyer"!

The Flyer is Asia's largest giant observation wheel,
reaching a staggering height of 165 meters.

I wanted to soak in the sparkling city lights,
so I booked one of the last slots of the day.
And wow, seeing the night views of major landmarks like Marina Bay
and Merlion Park from above was absolutely breathtaking!

On a super clear day, you can see all the way to Sentosa Island,
and even catch glimpses of Indonesia and Malaysia!
But personally, I'd still recommend going in the evening
to experience that magical city night view.

5. Jewel Changi
Even right up until the moment you head home,
Singapore keeps the wonders coming!!

Once you arrive at Changi Airport, you can't miss the massive
10-story lifestyle hub connected right to the terminals—
the iconic "Jewel Changi"!

While it's home to a massive food court packed with famous local hotspots like Song Fa Bak Kut Teh and Chili Crab,
as well as countless shopping malls,
the absolute crown jewel of this place is none other than
"Shiseido Forest Valley"

Featuring a breathtaking 40-meter-tall giant waterfall at the center of the indoor garden,
the Light & Sound show runs at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM on weekdays,
and at 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 10:00 PM on weekends.
Since the show plays every hour, why not arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare
and catch this spectacular free performance? 🎶

Honestly, from Chinatown and vibrant hawker centers
to the iconic Marina Bay Sands, there are still so many
incredible places in Singapore that I can’t wait to share with you.
I'll be revealing them one by one in my upcoming posts,
so I’m saving the best for later! 😥
For today, I’ve carefully curated only the absolute
must-visit spots for your Singapore travel itinerary.
Make sure you don't miss a single one,
and have the most wonderful adventure! 💚

Garden Rhapsody at the Supertrees takes place twice every night at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM. As it is very popular, many people wait before the show starts, so it is recommended to arrive early to secure a spot.
At the Cloud Forest, a special Cambodian orchid exhibition featuring Angkor Wat as a backdrop is ongoing until September. Here, you can also admire the Cloud Fountain, the world's second-largest indoor waterfall.
From the Singapore Flyer, you can enjoy the night views of major landmarks in Singapore, such as Marina Bay and Merlion Park. On clear days, you can even see Sentosa Island, as well as parts of Indonesia and Malaysia.
The light and sound show at the 40m-tall indoor waterfall takes place on weekdays at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. On weekends, it runs at 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 10:00 PM at one-hour intervals.
