You know, the kind where all the photos make you look bad, but they try to pass it off with 'warm and cozy' aesthetics?
Because, seriously, a photo should actually make you look good!
✔️ Also, please note that this Singapore photoshoot method isn't really suitable for family photos;
it's best for solo shots or up to two women max.
How to Get a Singapore Travel Photoshoot?
Singapore is known for being expensive,
so how can you possibly get an hour-long travel photoshoot for under ~$69???
The secret is,
don't book your photoshoots through platforms like Klook or MyRealTrip!
Instead, search on Xiaohongshu,
China's equivalent of Instagram,
to find a Singaporean photographer who can capture your moments for an hour...!
You'd be surprised, there are so many of them!

Many young Chinese women who get their photos taken like this find their photographers on Xiaohongshu,
getting ready and shooting intensely for an hour.
These photographers are often talented university students
studying in Singapore who have a good eye and know how to take great photos.
Since most of the Singaporean photographers found through Xiaohongshu are young Chinese women,
even solo female travelers in Singapore
can take photos comfortably and safely!

And seriously, these Chinese photographers are
incredibly talented at taking pictures... truly!
During my Singapore trip, I took about 200 candid shots in an hour like this...
and I ended up with so many amazing photos!
(And they gave me all the original files!)))

brought their own camera, phone, and various props,
and they genuinely put so much effort into the shoot...

Take Amazing Solo Female Travel Photos
in Singapore?

Translate 'Singapore photos'
into Chinese and search on Xiaohongshu – you'll find quite a few photographers!
Each photographer has a unique style and preferred shooting locations,
so browse their portfolios to choose the one that's perfect for you.
Prices typically range between ~$48 and ~$104,
and you should discuss where and how you want to shoot beforehand to finalize details!
Since photographers living in Singapore
generally speak decent English,
communicating in English was quite easy!
✔️ Here are some things to ask:
✔️ Are you available to shoot on [Month, Day] at [Specific Time] in [Location]?
✔️ How much do you charge for a 1-hour photoshoot?
✔️ Will I receive all the original files?
✔️ How many retouched photos will I get?
✔️ Is there anything else I need to prepare or bring?
(And considering the cost of living in Singapore,
Because the photography fee is incredibly affordable,
it's an unwritten rule that I should cover
the photographer's
transportation and entrance fees
(but they'll tell you about it anyway).
I first sent a deposit of 250 CNY (approximately ~$35)
to book my Singapore travel photoshoot,
and transferred the remaining amount after the shoot.
Recently, with the Korean Won falling, I ended up paying around ~$76.
Oh, and
even though it's a Singapore photoshoot,
since the photographers are Chinese,
you can usually pay with Alipay/WeChat Pay ⭐️ So convenient~~

Top Photo Spots for Your Travel Diary
When traveling to Singapore,
the places where photos turn out great and many people do photoshoots are as follows:
1. Atlas Bar
For Singapore's Atlas Bar, you need to dress appropriately for the time, place, and occasion (TPO).
Fancy dresses are totally fine too!
On weekday afternoons, walk-ins are often possible,
but you might not get a table inside.
On weekend evenings, don't even try without a reservation.
Also, photos at Singapore's Atlas Bar
seem to turn out even prettier when taken during the day.
2. National Gallery Singapore

Isn't this truly a palace?
The Singapore Art Museum,
this place is truly magnificent, like an ancient European building?
Or even a Greek temple???
I was amazed as soon as I entered, because of its incredible ambiance.
If you're traveling solo in Singapore
and trying to take selfies here, they won't do it justice.
For this spot, you absolutely need someone else to take your picture
like a princess from that exact angle.
It's insane how beautiful it is!

3. Raffles Hotel Singapore
Honestly, I think it might be the best hotel in Singapore.
Historically and culturally, Raffles Hotel Singapore is a place
I've always wanted to stay at least once.
But it feels like a waste to go there alone when traveling solo, right?
So, for now, I just went there to take photos.
It's a relatively open space from 11 AM until before evening, so many people take photos here.
I took photos here too!
Honestly, there are many photos that turned out much, much better than mine,
so it's a bit embarrassing to upload them,
Anyway, when you go here, slightly bright-toned and not-too-short clothes
seem to suit the vibe better and make for great photos.
4. In front of the Jewel Changi Waterfall at Singapore Changi Airport
It's easy to see why Singapore Changi Airport
is ranked the world's number one airport when you visit
Jewel Changi Airport.
Everyone takes a lot of photos in front of that waterfall.
But if you just snap a quick shot, getting a really beautiful photo
seems a bit tricky.
I regret not having a professional snapshot session here too!
5. In front of the Merlion in Singapore
Most people usually just grab a quick commemorative photo in Singapore here,
and many also take pictures in front of Merlion Park.
However, people usually take photos here during the day,
but compared to other indoor spots, are the photos really that good??
Personally, I'm not so sure.
Just grab a quick 'money bag' shot and be on your way...
6. Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

Many people do snapshot photoshoots on the streets of Singapore too,
especially in front of those colorful buildings.
But since it's outdoors, it's really hot and somehow,
it doesn't quite feel like a 'Singapore trip' photo.
So, I didn't consider this spot.
Wherever you go on your trip to Singapore,
I highly recommend a clean, conveniently located 5-star hotel that makes getting around easy!
