As you're planning your Singapore trip,
and wondering where to go to truly experience the quintessential Singaporean scenery?
If that's on your mind, the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck is
a fantastic spot to include in your travel itinerary.
The Marina Bay area, with iconic attractions like Merlion Park,
Gardens by the Bay, and the Singapore Flyer all clustered nearby,

Among them, the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck is
a place where you can take in the Singapore city skyline and
Marina Bay all at once from a magnificent height, truly a must-visit spot in Singapore.
While visiting the observation deck alone is great,

From the outdoor observation deck located on the 56th floor of the hotel,
you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Marina Bay area.
It definitely offers a different charm compared to what you see from below.

When you ascend to the observation deck, Marina Bay's
iconic landmarks naturally come into view.
Being able to gaze upon everything from nearby attractions to distant landmarks
all at once, it even felt like I was mentally organizing
my Singapore travel itinerary.

For those with a shorter Singapore itinerary,
it's not easy to visit many attractions in just one day.
In such cases, heading up to the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck
allows you to see the city's central landscape all at once,
making your route more efficient.
Especially if it's your first trip to Singapore!
It's a place that will distinctly leave you with the impression,
'Ah, this is Singapore!', so I highly recommend it ><
The moment the scenery I'd seen so many times in photos
unfolded before my eyes,
I realized it was absolutely worth including in my travel itinerary 😆
Recommended Singapore Travel Itinerary: From Shopping Malls and Cafes to the SkyPark Observation Deck and Supertree Grove Light Show
Don't just stop at the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck!
I recommend combining it with nearby attractions to create
a full Singapore travel itinerary.
Marina Bay Sands seamlessly connects shopping,
dining, cafes, and observation deck visits all within one complex,
making it relatively easy to plan your day,
even on hot or rainy days.

Arrive at Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall
→ Dine inside the mall or take a break at a cafe
→ Souvenir shopping or enjoy a Sampan Ride
→ Enter Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck around sunset
→ Head to Gardens by the Bay to watch the Supertree Grove Light Show
By following this route,
you can seamlessly connect shopping, cafes, the observation deck, and night views
with just one journey, ensuring a rich and fulfilling itinerary.

This itinerary was particularly great for days when you don't want to overdo it,
like your first or last day in Singapore!
I was exploring the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall when...
Ralph Lauren Cafe
I stopped by Ralph's Coffee,
and its classic ambiance made it a perfect spot for a quick break.

Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck: Prices & Booking Tips
While tickets for the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck
can be purchased on-site,
I found online pre-booking much more convenient.

or kids in Singapore,
simply reducing waiting times
can make your trip much smoother.
And if you want to visit during popular times,
like sunset or nighttime,
it's definitely safer to secure your date and time in advance!

It's even more memorable if you go up around sunset!
Even if you visit the observation deck during the day,
the expansive views are captivating.
But personally, the time around sunset was absolutely stunning.
You get to see the vibrant city landscape in daylight
gradually transform into a dazzling nightscape,
so the ambiance continuously shifts in the same spot.

It was great for taking photos,
but there were also many moments when I just wanted to put my camera down and simply take it all in.
After visiting the observation deck,
a great plan is to head over to Gardens by the Bay
and catch the Supertree Grove show.
Of course, I also thought that
watching the Supertree Grove show from the observation deck would be quite atmospheric.

However,
the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck...
Since it's an outdoor space on the 56th floor,
it can be affected by the weather.
Depending on weather conditions like heavy rain, lightning, or thunderstorms,
operations may be temporarily restricted,
so make sure to check the weather on the day of your visit 💡
→ If operations are suspended due to severe weather,
you can re-enter later with the same voucher!

If you're looking for recommended spots for your Singapore travel itinerary,
the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck is
a must-visit in Singapore.
You can gaze down at the entire Marina Bay area
and also spend time at the shopping mall and cafes nearby.
If you have a specific time slot in mind,
rather than deliberating on the spot,
preparing your tickets in advance is
a great way to reduce travel fatigue!
If you apply a discount code during checkout
and book together with family and friends,
you can reserve it even more affordably,
so make sure to check it out
for your Singapore travel itinerary 🙌🏻

Adult tickets for entry after 5 PM on Klook start from ~$31. On-site, adult tickets for entry after 5 PM cost S$39 (approximately ~$32), so online booking is slightly cheaper and better for securing your preferred time slot.
We recommend combining it with the Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall, Gardens by the Bay, and the Supertree Grove light show. It's a good itinerary to have a meal or coffee at the shopping mall, visit the observation deck, then move to Gardens by the Bay to watch the Supertree Grove light show.
Yes, as it is an outdoor space on the 56th floor, operations may be temporarily restricted due to weather conditions such as heavy rain, lightning, or thunderstorms. If it is closed due to bad weather, re-entry with the same voucher will be possible at a later date.
