I can't believe how fast time is flying...
My next trip to Singapore is just two weeks away,
and I am currently in full-blown prep mode! ㅠㅠ
While my main, longer vacation is scheduled for September,
this upcoming getaway is essentially a "practice run."
I'm planning to hit up the spots I missed during my last visit,
but of course, I can't skip the iconic landmarks!
Based on my own travels,
I've put together a list of the absolute must-visit spots
that you simply cannot leave off your itinerary.
If you're planning a trip to Singapore soon
and need some inspiration, definitely save this list! 💚
📍 Universal Studios Singapore
8 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098269
📍 Gardens by the Bay
18 Marina Gardens Dr, Singapore 018953
📍 Mandai Wildlife Reserve
80 Mandai Lake Rd, Singapore 729826
If I had to pick the place I'm most hyped about for this trip,
it's definitely Universal Studios.

Sadly, due to a minor hiccup during my last vacation,
I had to completely skip my Universal day...😭

I didn't have any major regrets since I visited other amazing places,
but as a massive theme park enthusiast,
missing out on Southeast Asia's first and only Universal Studios
definitely stung a little bit.

I might not be brave enough to ride
the world's tallest dueling roller coasters...
but honestly, just wandering through the incredibly themed
zones is enough to make my day.
But here is the absolute most tragic part...
The brand new "Illumination's Minion & Monster Summer" event
is launching at the park soon....
and the dates are 05/29/2026 - 08/11/2026.

It literally just misses my trip dates! ^^
I seriously cannot believe my luck right now. 😂
If you are lucky enough to be visiting
during those dates,
you absolutely have to check out the new Minion Land!

Pro tip: Klook is currently offering a combo that includes
general admission PLUS an SGD 10 (about $7.50) meal voucher + a retail voucher
for the exact same price as a
standard entry ticket.
It is a total steal, so definitely grab this one!

Are you also a fan of marine life?
Singapore's premier oceanarium is
located right next to Universal on Sentosa Island,
making it incredibly easy to pair these two for a full day of fun.

They even sell combo passes for both attractions,
so if you love aquariums as much as I do,
I highly recommend knocking them both out on the same day.

If someone were to ask me,
"If you could only recommend one single place in Singapore,
where would it be?"
My answer would instantly be:
"Gardens by the Bay."

Opened in 2012, this massive futuristic nature park
is an absolute non-negotiable
for any Singapore itinerary.

The crown jewel here is the "Garden Rhapsody" Supertree Show.
Running twice nightly (7:45 PM / 8:45 PM) for free,
this light and sound spectacle draws huge crowds.
People literally start claiming the best viewing spots
an hour early, tourists and locals alike.

I'm usually pretty hard to impress when it comes to
fireworks or light shows, but this left my jaw on the floor.
Make sure this is locked into your schedule!
While the Supertrees are incredible on their own,
I personally can never skip the "Cloud Forest" either!!!

Yes, it's a paid attraction, but...
walking past that colossal indoor waterfall and exploring
the misty, high-elevation tropical plants
is worth every single penny.

Because it mimics a tropical montane climate, it's kept wonderfully cool,
making it the perfect escape during the sweltering afternoon heat!
My ideal plan? Hit the indoor conservatories in the late afternoon,
then head out to catch the Supertree light show. Absolute perfection.

By the way, combo tickets for the Cloud Forest + Flower Dome
are noticeably cheaper on WAG compared to other platforms,
so I highly recommend booking there!

Are you traveling to Singapore with kids?
Or are you just a massive animal lover like me?!
If so, there is one place I enthusiastically
insist you add to your itinerary:
the "Mandai Wildlife Reserve."

Located in the northern part of the island,
this incredible wildlife sanctuary precinct
encompasses the Night Safari, River Wonders, Singapore Zoo, Bird Paradise,
and the recently opened "Rainforest Wild."
It's a massive, immersive nature hub.

As my friends know,
I am completely obsessed with animals,
so I tried to pack the entire Mandai precinct into my schedule.
But realistically, unless you have a very long trip,
trying to visit all five parks will leave you exhausted.

Instead, I recommend dedicating a half-day or a full day
and choosing just 1 to 3 parks max.
Personally, I highly recommend the
"Night Safari" (the world's first nocturnal wildlife park)
or the classic "Singapore Zoo," which is home to over 4,200 animals.

Pro tip: If you plan to visit multiple parks like I do,
do not buy individual tickets!
Grab a Multi-Park ticket where you can mix and match
the exact parks you want to see.
It is significantly cheaper and much more convenient.

I feel incredibly lucky to be heading back to
one of my all-time favorite travel destinations.
I'm so ready for this trip! 💚
Missing the Minion event at Universal is a bummer,
but with so many new experiences in Singapore—
from the Harry Potter exhibition to Rainforest Wild—
I'm leaving my FOMO behind and getting ready for an epic adventure! 🎶

'Illumination's Minion & Monster Summer' will run from May 29 to August 11. If you visit Singapore during this period, you can experience the new Minion Land.
The 'Super Tree Show' is held twice daily at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM. This light show is free to attend, so anyone can enjoy it.
If your itinerary isn't long, it's best to allocate at least half a day to a full day to visit one or up to two or three places. We particularly recommend 'Night Safari,' the world's first nocturnal zoo, or the 'Singapore Zoo,' home to approximately 4,200 animals.
Currently, Klook is selling combo tickets that include an SGD 10 meal voucher and a merchandise shopping voucher for the same price as a basic admission ticket. Purchasing this combo ticket is more beneficial.
