Having just returned from

a two-month trip through Ireland and Iceland,

it hasn't been long,

but I'm already searching for a place for our month-long stay this winter.

Currently, there are four contenders:

1. Learning Japanese in Japan

2. Learning to surf in Bali

3. Taking a Disney Cruise

4. Learning English in Malta

Among these, a Disney Cruise has been increasingly popping up on my social media feeds.

With a preconception that it would be too expensive,

I hadn't even considered looking into it.

However, my husband quietly made a suggestion.

He wondered if we should try a Disney Cruise

before our child enters middle school.

Disney Adventure, which will be homeported in Singapore.

facilities and entertainment.

Effortless Escape Package vs. Tailored Adventure Package

Lately, there are so many reviews on social media about people

who have experienced the Disney Cruise.

Of course, while many might have gone due to influencer invitations,

it seems that is often the case,

nevertheless, there appear to be quite a lot of people

who paid for their trips themselves.

The Disney Adventure Cruise packages are largely divided into

the Effortless Escape Package and the Tailored Adventure Package.

To explain simply:

the actual cruise duration is identical at 3 nights!

The reason for the difference in total trip duration

is the varying number of hotel nights included in Singapore.

The Effortless Escape Package includes 1 hotel night,

while the Tailored Adventure Package includes 2 hotel nights, for example.

So, what's the total price for a family of three?

Since I'm planning to go in February,

I picked the cheapest date from the February departure schedule

and compared the prices of the two packages.

But guess what?

The 5-night, 7-day package, which included an extra day, was actually cheaper!

For two adults and one child,

the total cost for 5 nights and 7 days is ~$5,675.

What the Cruise Package Includes

The total cost we looked at earlier is for a February 20th departure,

with a total cost for 3 people of ~$5,675

So, what exactly is included in this cost?

★ Incheon - Singapore Jeju Air Round-trip Flight Ticket

(Departing Sunday / Returning Friday)

★ 3 nights on the cruise, including meals

★ 1 night (or 2 nights) at a 4-star hotel, including breakfast

★ Pick-up service from the hotel to the airport before boarding

These are the main services included in the price.

Actually, what I really wanted to find out today was

how much it would cost to board the Disney Cruise

if I were to book it individually.

Just the Cruise, Not a Package

Excluding round-trip airfare and Singapore hotel accommodation,

I only looked into the cost for a 3-night, 4-day

Disney Cruise alone.

That's right!!!

If you don't necessarily need to stay at a 4-star hotel in Singapore,

paying only for the standalone cruise rather than the package

can be a much cheaper way to enjoy the cruise.

Of course, to the costs above,

you'd need to add local hotel accommodation and transportation fees in Singapore, etc.

but you're worried about the cost, then booking just the cruise
