To celebrate my birthday, my boyfriend and I
went on a 3-night, 4-day trip to Busan,
and during our visit, I personally experienced
Shilla Stay Haeundae!
When you're searching for accommodation near Haeundae,
many of you probably look up things like location, price, breakfast, and ocean views
one by one, but today, I'll put it all together for you in one place.
Our trip was mainly for sightseeing,
so we only stayed at a hotel for one night on the third day.
I'll honestly share whether or not you should book accommodation in Haeundae,
and what our stay at Shilla Stay Haeundae was like!

spanning from 3 underground floors to 18 above-ground floors,
with a total of 407 rooms.
Check-in is at 3:00 PM,
and check-out is at 2:00 PM.
It's right in front of Haeundae Beach, so
you can drop off your luggage and immediately
head out to the ocean.
Haeundae Food Alley is also less than a
5-minute walk away.

Shilla Stay Haeundae Breakfast & Facilities: A Complete Guide
Breakfast is served at the 2nd-floor restaurant,
from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM on weekdays,
and from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on weekends.
It costs ~$19 for adults
(children under 37 months old eat for free).
Since our trip was mainly for sightseeing, we didn't opt for breakfast,
but I'll definitely try it if I stay here again!
There's a swimming pool on the rooftop,
and the fitness room has treadmills, bikes,
and a few strength training machines,
which guests aged 16 and over
can use for free.
There's also a separate business room,
so I hear quite a few people stay here
for a 'workation' (work+vacation).
My 3-Night, 4-Day Busan Trip: Comparing Three Hotels
During our 3-night, 4-day trip, on the first day, I received a surprise proposal at Park Hyatt Busan.
On the second day, we experienced a truly unique ambiance at the Commodo Hotel, featuring a distinctive Hanok concept.
The Shilla Stay Haeundae, where we stayed on the third day,
struck a perfect balance, focusing less on extravagant amenities and more on
spotless rooms, breathtaking ocean views,
and a truly reasonable price point!
For couples like us who prioritize sightseeing
and prefer to simply relax at the accommodation,
a practical stay like this was actually
a much better fit.
For couples seeking a truly relaxing stay in a pristine room,

we highly recommend it!!

Shilla Stay Haeundae Ocean View Room: Our Honest Stay Review
Having stayed there ourselves, we found the front desk staff to be
incredibly friendly,
and the rooms so clean that it truly made a lasting impression.
The ocean view beyond the panoramic window was so magnificent that
it made us wish we had spent even more time
just enjoying the accommodation itself.
The expansive view was absolutely stunning!
Since it's located right in Haeundae,
I could enjoy playing by the sea and savoring some fish and chips.
It was a truly delightful time.
The clean and modern interior,
without any unnecessary clutter, was also fantastic!
The bedding and pillows were quite plush,
and the bathroom amenities were thoughtfully stocked.

While prices might be a bit higher during peak season,
when compared to Airbnb,
there isn't a huge difference.
In such cases, I personally prefer a brand-name hotel that is meticulously maintained
and professionally managed!
If any inconveniences or issues arise,
a brand-name hotel can provide immediate assistance,
which makes it so much more convenient than Airbnb!
