Sheraton Hanoi West 1st Floor Lobby
True to the Sheraton brand, the 1st-floor lobby is incredibly spacious with high ceilings.
As a side note, there is another Sheraton hotel near Hanoi's West Lake,
so make sure to specify 'West' when you are catching a ride!
Being a Marriott brand hotel, it smells absolutely wonderful and feels very upscale!
The check-in desk is located on the left side as you walk in.
Check-in: 3PM
Check-out: 12PM
They have the sweet touch of serving a refreshing cup of sweet tea during check-in!
The staff speaks fluent English, which made the check-in process incredibly smooth and easy.
Of course, I made sure to rack up my Marriott Bonvoy points too~
There are four elevators in total, which operate efficiently on a first-come, first-served assignment,
so you won't have to wait long even during busy peak hours.
My room was located at the very end of the hallway,
where I could see people playing soccer on a nearby field.
Must be nice to enjoy this lush, green view all year round...

I wondered what the difference was between the Premier and Deluxe rooms,
but the layout seemed quite similar, so I suspect they are just on different floors.
The room is fundamentally well-designed and efficient, making it very comfortable to get around during my stay.
First, here is the dedicated luggage storage area.
On the shelf, you'll find two bottles of Aquafina water, cups, coffee, and tea selections.
The mini-bar area is quite spacious,
making it super convenient to set down your personal belongings.
When you open the lower cabinet, you'll find the mini-fridge and electric kettle.
Though the fridge is compact, it works exceptionally well and is more than enough to keep your drinks ice-cold.
Along with bathrobes, disposable slippers, and a safe,
you'll find an iron and ironing board fully prepared—
definitely a huge plus for business travelers and anyone who likes keeping their outfits crisp and fresh!
The AC controls were super intuitive, making it easy to set the perfect temperature
and keep the room wonderfully fresh and dry.
True to the 5-star Sheraton name, the bedroom area was spotlessly clean!
The blend of hardwood floors and soft carpeting,
as well as the cozy lighting and bedside table layout, felt perfectly natural and inviting.
There's a vanity mirror that doubles as a round table, along with a cozy sofa,
which is great for catching up on some work or enjoying a quick snack.
Super convenient: both sides of the headboard feature charging ports
and master light switches!
The bed is incredibly comfortable, and pillows are provided in various sizes,
guaranteeing a great night's sleep.
If you struggle with a stiff neck like me, go for the lower pillow...
My room overlooked the neighboring buildings, offering a decent city view.
It's close to My Dinh, which has a strong Koreatown vibe,
but it definitely feels different from the Old Quarter—much more of a calm, residential neighborhood atmosphere.
It was incredibly quiet, too!
In particular, you get a great view of the outdoor pool down below.
As you can see, the weather was super gloomy during my stay, so I didn't get to swim...
Since it's a Samsung TV and features Korean channels like KBS and YTN by default,
it seems they host quite a few Korean guests here.
Bathroom
The bathroom is located right by the entrance.
It has a bathtub, a separate shower, and a vanity—my absolute favorite layout!
It is separated from the bedroom by a clear glass window,
but don't worry, you can easily pull down the blinds from the inside!
Otherwise, you can soak in the tub while taking in the city view or catching up on TV, haha.
The bathtub fixtures are sturdy, and I loved the thoughtful little shelf nearby to keep your personal items handy.
Here's what it looks like on the opposite side of the tub.
The marble can get slippery, but thanks to the shower ledge,
water doesn't splash out much, making it safe and dry.
Two bottles of Aquafina water and cups are ready by the sink.
Amenities provided include a comb, dental kit, razor, cotton pads, shower cap, and sanitary bags.
There's definitely a reason they put up a warning sign in the shower.
Since there's only a rain shower head right in the center,
be careful as you might get a sudden blast of cold water..!
Anyway, the water pressure is fantastic,
and there's a raised threshold to keep water from spilling outside the shower area, which is super convenient.
(+) My friend stayed in an accessible (handicap-friendly) room,
and this is what their bathroom looked like. Just for your reference!

plus the peaceful neighborhood and its close proximity to Koreatown.
If you're looking for a calm, spacious Hanoi 5-star hotel

You should be careful not to confuse it with another Sheraton hotel located near West Lake in Hanoi. When traveling, make sure to include 'West' in your destination name to arrive at the correct location.
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, and check-out is until 12:00 PM (noon). Sweet tea is served while you wait to check in, and the staff's fluent English ensures a smooth process, including earning Marriott Bonvoy points.
The room is equipped with two bottles of Aquafina water, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, and pillows of various sizes. Additionally, bathrobes, a safe, an iron, and an ironing board are provided, making it convenient for business travelers to manage their clothes.
It features a bathtub, a shower booth, and a sink. The clear glass connecting it to the bedroom can be covered with an inner curtain. Amenities include a dental kit, a razor, a comb, and cotton pads. Please note that the shower booth only has a rain showerhead, so be careful of sudden cold water.
