Lotte Center Hanoi: Essential Tips for Shopping & Luggage Storage (2026)

It's Chori, and today I'm taking you to a must-visit spot near Hanoi's West Lake: Lotte Center Hanoi.

If you're planning some retail therapy during your Hanoi trip, Lotte Center Hanoi is absolutely the place to be. It's a fantastic hub with Lotte Mart, Lotte Department Store, and the Hanoi Sky observation deck, offering a perfect blend of sightseeing and shopping convenience all under one roof.

When you take a Grab taxi to Lotte Mart, you'll usually be dropped off in front of the Lotte Hotel. If you're heading to the mart, look for the Lotte Mart entrance on the opposite side of the street.

Once you enter through the door pictured above, you'll immediately find an escalator.

Take the escalator down, and you'll see the entrance to Hanoi Sky on your left, with a Lotteria next to it. Continue straight ahead, and you'll reach the main entrance of Lotte Mart.

To the right of Lotte Mart, you'll find the customer service desk, where you can store your shopping bags or other belongings. Just speak to a staff member, and they'll provide you with a key for a locker. Officially, there's a 1-hour storage limit, but from my experience, they're quite flexible, and I was able to use it for longer without any issues.

If the customer service desk is unable to assist with luggage storage, you can also utilize the smart lockers located to the left of the Lotte Mart entrance.

After you've finished shopping at Lotte Mart, simply take the escalator right next to the smart lockers up, and you'll find yourself in Lotte Department Store.

The first floor is mainly dedicated to cosmetics, while the second floor features women's apparel. The atmosphere is calm and clean, offering a shopping experience similar to what you'd find in a high-end mall back home. I was impressed by the quality of the clothing, and many items seemed more affordable than I expected.

Further inside the second floor, you'll discover fun photo booths for capturing memories, and even Korean restaurants like Dookki. Next to Dookki, you'll also find a second-floor branch of Pizza 4P's.

When the Hanoi heat gets a bit much, I highly recommend cooling off and getting some shopping done at the comfortable and air-conditioned Lotte Center. It's truly an oasis!
