It's located at 176 Cumberland St, The Rocks, Sydney NSW,
in the historic and charming neighborhood of Circular Quay within The Rocks district.
While the hotel itself is situated on a hill,
which might be a bit challenging,
I found it quite walkable.
Plus, having a Korean-speaking staff member at the hotel
made checking in super comfortable!
The lobby is incredibly spacious!
I arrived quite early,
so I asked if early check-in was possible.
They said they'd text me if a room became available!

The room I booked was a
Deluxe Harbour Bridge Room,
which cost around ~$228 per night.
Room types are categorized in various ways:
Deluxe Darling Harbour Rooms or Horizon Darling Harbour Rooms usually don't offer views of the Opera House or Harbour Bridge.
There are rooms that only show the Opera House,
rooms that only show the Harbour Bridge,
and Harbour Rooms that offer both the Harbour Bridge and Opera House views.
The bathroom features a spacious bathtub and vanity.
Amenities are from ELOURA,
while the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are
from John Masters Organics,
filling the air with a lovely aroma.

I was considering the Shangri-La Sydney,
and even though it's a bit older,
I heard it was actually tidier and well-maintained,
so I ended up choosing the Shangri-La,
and it turned out to be a little more affordable too!
The area for luggage is incredibly spacious!
The wardrobe, however, is a tad on the smaller side.
The bed is wonderfully spacious, but really,
the entire room feels incredibly expansive!
The Opera House and Harbour Bridge
are visible together, and it's absolutely stunning!
It's this very view
that brought me to the Shangri-La Sydney in the first place!
Through the massive, panoramic windows,
the Opera House and Harbour Bridge
appear almost close enough to touch – it's truly breathtaking.
While photos don't quite do it justice,
it looks even grander and more expansive in person!
The sunset views are absolutely gorgeous too!
Suddenly,
fireworks started outside,
and I was completely surprised!
Imagine being able to watch fireworks right from your room!
There's no need to even step outside,
as you can enjoy the most beautiful views,
stunning sunsets,
and even fireworks displays!
And what made our trip
even happier was Shangri-La Sydney!
