The Berry Bar, Shanghai

📍 The Berry is a brand new rooftop bar in Shanghai with an absolutely insane view, perfect for enjoying the Bund's nightscape and sunset.

✔️The Berry Shanghai opened this May and has quickly become the hottest spot, with every Shanghai influencer visiting it at least once. Everyone falls for its chill interior, the shimmering Bund view, and the overall rooftop vibe.

正大广场西区9楼 (9th Floor, West Zone, Super Brand Mall)
📍Hours:
7:00 PM - 1:00 AM
📍Outdoor Terrace / Indoor Seating
📍Hookah, Cocktails, Champagne, Wine
📍Reservations HIGHLY Recommended!!!

Even the locals all insist that you MUST make a reservation before visiting The Berry Shanghai. If you don't, you might end up waiting until 10 PM or later....
If you have a reservation for The Berry Bar, it seems you can enter right at 7 PM when they open. For walk-ins, you can join the queue starting at 7:15 PM, but
✔️✔️
be warned, there's no telling how long you'll have to wait.
And here's a crucial tip: the view is truly breathtaking during sunset, even more so than at night. If you wait as a walk-in, you might miss the sunset entirely and only get in after dark ㅠㅠㅠ

The nighttime view at The Berry Shanghai is incredible... It's highly recommended to go in before sunset, enjoy the magical transition, and then soak in the cool evening atmosphere of the Bund riverside.

When you're looking for The Berry rooftop, Shanghai's hotspot, the address is
正大广场西区9楼 (9th Floor, West Zone, Super Brand Mall)
Yep, that's it,
on an upper floor of the shopping mall building.

While researching The Berry rooftop in Shanghai, I came across an influencer whose outfit was so gorgeous, I had to find it on Taobao... Love you, Princess Hem!
✔️For indoor seating at The Berry Shanghai rooftop bar, it seems you might only need to order one drink per person (?????)
->>>> IMPORTANT: You should confirm if this policy is only for the soft opening period!!
✔️The outdoor terrace seems to have a minimum spend of 400-800 yuan.
✔️There is a minimum spend of 300 yuan per person [Current as of July-August, updated].
This is what the indoor seating at The Berry Shanghai looks like. Even if you sit indoors, you can still go outside to take photos, so some people wonder if it's really necessary to book the outdoor terrace at a higher price.

🫐 The Berry Bar Shanghai offers explanations for each of its sections:
✔️Section P2 offers a panoramic backdrop with the Bund, said to be the best for photos.
✔️The P3-P4 sections of The Berry Bar Shanghai feature an atmospheric ceiling, making every photo look luxurious. Given the mention of a ceiling, it seems to refer to the area in the photo below.

At The Berry Bar Shanghai... it seems there are plenty of snacks, which means...
It seems they are referring to the complimentary appetizers.
📍

上海市静安区巨鹿路889号23幢(静融商务中心)9501室
Shanghai Tiam Joo Location Map ⬇️

I've included the map and address for this spot above. Since it's in downtown Shanghai, you can easily take a Didi taxi by pasting the address, or the link is for Gaode Map.
You can also navigate there directly using Gaode Map.

This is our second incredible hotspot, boasting both a swimming pool and a rooftop nestled within Shanghai's urban jungle!
This Shanghai bar is called Tiam Joo.

Apparently, you can't actually swim in the pool here.
But it's a spot where you can soak in a Mediterranean rooftop vibe right here in Shanghai.
The sky and sunset reflected in the pool water are absolutely stunning!

And Shanghai Tiam Joo rooftop bar also offers a fantastic selection of unique and diverse cocktails,
like the ones pictured above.

Whoa!
This dragonfly... shape... wait, is that a real dragonfly?!
It's definitely striking, but also kind of beautiful, isn't it?!
I've never actually seen a dragonfly in Shanghai, so this is a bit unexpected, but anyway,
this Shanghai Tiam Joo bar isn't just a visually stunning rooftop spot;
it seems they truly dedicate themselves to the cocktails themselves.

Even though it's a Shanghai rooftop bar, they also have comfortable indoor seating like this.

They have a great wine list, too,
and it's located on the 5th floor of a business building.
The drinks here might be a bit pricier, perhaps?
But reservations seem less competitive. It looks like a good spot to try your luck with a walk-in when you're in Shanghai!
All photos and information sources are from searching for Shanghai hotspots on Xiaohongshu....
If you're suddenly itching to book a flight to Shanghai,
