then MINISOLAND is an absolute must-visit!
It's much larger than a regular MINISO store,
and with so many products to browse on every floor,
the shopping experience was incredibly fun.
(Make sure to allocate plenty of time...)
Especially with a diverse range of items, from character products like keychains and tumblers
to useful power banks for your travels,
it was the perfect place to complete my Shanghai shopping list.

When you think of MINISO, character products are definitely what come to mind, right?!
There are so many varieties that you might go in just to browse,
but end up making impulse purchases...
that's MINISOLAND for you...

Since most items are affordably priced,
I also recommend it for those looking for Shanghai travel souvenirs
or gifts for friends.
Character Keychains!!
The first thing you should definitely check out at MINISOLAND Shanghai
are the keychains.
There was a huge variety of characters and designs,
so there were plenty of great options to attach to bags or pouches.
They're also small, so they don't take up much space in your luggage,
and it's easy to buy several without breaking the bank,
making them a highly recommended Shanghai souvenir.
Lifestyle Products
There was also a surprisingly wide range of daily essentials,
like character-themed hairbrushes and other small household items.
Instead of just ordinary daily necessities,
there were many items with cute designs,
which made browsing so much more enjoyable.
Many products are also very affordable,
so if you're looking for small gifts to casually share with friends,
I recommend checking out this section.
Something I personally found really delightful was
the fact that even everyday consumables like tissues
came with adorable character designs!
Haha, they were an absolute hit when I gifted them
to friends with little ones.
While they might not be an absolute necessity,
if the price isn't a deal-breaker, they make for
fantastic little travel souvenirs to bring back home.

Umbrellas
Guess what?! I actually ended up buying
both the Hello Kitty long umbrella and the folding umbrella!
The folding umbrella doubles as a parasol,
which makes it incredibly useful during those hot summer months!
And get this – when I got back home, I realized they were easily twice the price! Ugh!
Power Banks
And here's a surprising recommendation:
a power bank!
When you're exploring Shanghai, you'll be constantly using apps like Gaode Maps, Alipay, and Didi,
which means your phone battery tends to drain super fast.
Miniso Land isn't just about adorable character merchandise;
they also stock electronics and power banks that are perfect for
immediate use during your trip, making it a great spot to browse for those too!
