this is the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Hotel that newly opened in 2025.

This stunning new property is nestled on the southern side of the Huangpu River, directly opposite

the original Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund.

With hotel room sizes spanning a generous 52㎡ to 171㎡,

these rooms are notably spacious for a downtown Shanghai hotel.

Each room features an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, and the majority of rooms are

river-facing, offering breathtaking river views.

Even with the same area,

it feels much larger than the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund.

Most rooms offer views of the Huangpu River or the park,

and having a balcony or terrace is another feature that sets it apart from traditional Shanghai hotels.

Some suites even have outdoor jacuzzis.

this hotel is a better fit for those who want to swim in a spacious new hotel, stroll along the riverside, and relax in their room—

with standard rooms starting from 61㎡.

Out of a total of 165 rooms, 34 are suites, and room sizes range from 61 to 380㎡.

Due to the high elevation of the rooms themselves, you get a bird's-eye view of the Huangpu River, the Bund, and Lujiazui.

offers distinct room types: Bund View, River View, and City View,

and you can enjoy the swimming pool and fitness center on the high floors (84th-85th floors). (A 160㎡ skyline swimming pool)

Including Heavenly Jin on the 120th floor, the hotel features various

While highly recommended for anniversaries, proposals, or luxury travel,

the view might be obscured on cloudy or heavily polluted days,
