Many of you are probably planning a trip to

Shanghai Disneyland to coincide with this perfect time of year.

Today, I'll be sharing details on how to snag

along with a review of the **parade and the famous

Mickey Malatang, a must-try restaurant within Disneyland**!

How to Grab Shanghai Disneyland Early Bird Tickets

First, let me share some **early bird ticket

information for Shanghai Disneyland**.

Typically, you can book Shanghai Disneyland tickets

up to 60 days in advance.

Out of these, tickets for dates **from 10 days after the booking date

up to 60 days** are eligible for early bird discounts,

allowing you to book them for **over ~$7 cheaper than the regular price!**

However, early bird tickets are first-come, first-served,

so they **might sell out faster than expected**

during Chinese holidays, long weekends, or regular weekends.

Therefore, I recommend **booking in advance once your travel

itinerary and Disneyland visit dates are finalized!**

Disneyland Parade Viewing Experience

Next, I'll share my experience with the **parade,

which many consider the highlight of Shanghai Disneyland**.

The parade features various characters from the Disney universe

making their way around the entire park.

Even an hour before the parade started, people were already

spread out on mats, waiting in the front rows.

The parade usually runs twice a day: **the first show at 12:15 PM,

and the second at 3:45 PM**. I watched the second parade.

It felt like almost everyone in Disneyland was watching

the parade – it was incredibly crowded!

It was both fun and impressive to see the Disney characters

dancing, waving, and performing from their grand floats.

Especially if you're in the very front row, the performers often

pass by to give high-fives or greetings, which would make the experience even more special.

Personally, at the Shanghai Disneyland parade,

The most memorable scene for me was Elsa.

A Western actress came out dressed as Elsa,

and her performance to the 'Let It Go' song

felt just like watching a musical!

Honestly, it was my first time seeing an amusement park parade,

and it was much more fun than I expected!

Especially if you're visiting with kids,

you'd be giving them an unforgettable experience.

On the other hand, there might be some who aren't interested in the parade.

During parade times, popular attractions often

see fewer crowds, so if that's you,

take advantage of this time to enjoy the rides!

Shanghai Disneyland Must-Try Food? Mickey Malatang Review

After the parade, I tried Mickey Malatang, famous as a must-try food

at Shanghai Disneyland.

It's famous for its cute Mickey-shaped fish cakes,

and with so many positive reviews about its taste, I was really looking forward to it.

When I visited, the price of the Malatang was

99 Chinese Yuan, which was almost ~$15.

Even considering theme park prices,

it was quite expensive for China.

Still, I thought it would be okay if it tasted good.

However, it tasted much worse than I expected.

The broth lacked depth, and the ingredients in the soup

didn't absorb any flavor.

The noodles, in particular, seemed to be in their own world.

You can bring bread or simple snacks into Shanghai Disneyland,

so I'd recommend bringing your own bread instead!!

Shanghai Disneyland: Fun Just to Look At!

Today, I've shared information on Shanghai Disneyland early bird tickets,

the parade, and some food insights.

While the ticket prices are a bit on the higher side,

I personally felt that the attraction quality was high

and there was plenty to see and do.

However, for the on-site restaurants, while the food looks good,

it can be expensive and sometimes lacking in taste.
