DPA6: Is it worth it or not?

Among the ticket options at Disneyland,

there's a fast pass called DPA (Disney Premier Access).

I didn't buy it myself,

but looking at the reviews of those who did,

it sounded absolutely amazing...?

To get DPA for the most popular rides

including TRON and Zootopia,

you'll need to go for at least DPA6!

(DPA3 only includes TRON...)

The wait time for TRON is easily 3 hours on average,

and Zootopia gets absolutely insane

in the afternoon... (at least 2 hours!).

I visited on a weekday and managed to ride TRON twice

with just a regular admission ticket,

but if you're going on a weekend, you should definitely... book it!!

Shanghai Disney Review

Zootopia Wait Times?

I ran straight to Zootopia Land first,

which is the most popular zone in Shanghai Disney.

The main ride, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit,

had about a 40-minute wait in the morning,

but by afternoon, it shot up to over 90 minutes...;;

I went once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

If you have a DPA, visiting in the afternoon is totally fine,

(but morning is definitely the sweet spot....)

I also rode TRON twice haha.

I had to wait over an hour both times,

but it was legendary levels of fun, so no regrets!

If you're more hyped for TRON than Zootopia,

maybe going for DPA3 would be a solid choice?

And a quick stop to check out Toy Story Land!

In the evening, I watched the parade.

As a huge Disney fan,

it was just so adorable and pure happiness...

I believe they run it once during the day and once at night,

and I was a bit bummed I missed the daytime one!

Browsed through all the adorable plushies and merch to my heart's content,

and secured a prime spot at night

to wait and catch the fireworks spectacular!

By the way, during the fireworks and parades,

the ride queues actually drop quite a bit.

So if your goal is to ride as many attractions as possible,

targeting these times to skip the lines

isn't a bad strategy at all.

(But the fireworks are just too beautiful to miss... T_T)

If you're visiting on a weekend or traveling with kids,
