I checked all three platforms for an arbitrary date (Wednesday, November 11th) for one adult.

First off, for November and December, excluding Christmas and New Year's Eve,

weekday tickets are under ~$76!

As you can see from the table,

Should You Buy Shanghai Disney DPA? | Honest Review of TRON & Zootopia Hot Pursuit

DPA (Disney Premier Access) is a paid fast-pass system that lets you skip the regular line and ride immediately via a dedicated lane.

To cut straight to the chase after experiencing the lines myself:

TRON: Not recommended for the regular line, but highly satisfying with DPA.

I went with high expectations, as it's famous worldwide,

but the evening wait was almost 2 hours.

The motorcycle-like prone riding position and the sensation of speed are fun, but the ride itself lasts less than a minute.

Considering the parade and fireworks I missed during those 2 hours of waiting,

I really should have bought DPA~

That's my biggest regret.

If you're planning to ride TRON,

I highly recommend buying the DPA3 product to be on the safe side~

Zootopia Hot Pursuit: Recommended for the regular line, as waiting isn't too bad.

From the waiting area, the city of Zootopia is faithfully recreated,

making the 50-minute to 1-hour wait less boring.

Zootopia Hot Pursuit, in particular, is genuinely fun,

even my parents, who are over seventy, came out screaming with excitement haha.

However, if you're going with children or elderly parents,

standing for an hour is no easy feat.

If I were you, I would probably buy a DPA ticket on-site if the wait times are long.

Also,

if you're planning to ride both TRON and Zootopia Hot Pursuit,

it's a good idea to just buy the DPA6 product.

(Unfortunately, outside of the DPA6 product, only one of these two is usually included.)

So, Which Shanghai Disneyland Ticket Do I Need?

While DPA can be purchased via the park app on-site, popular attractions sell out quickly once their allocation is gone.

Don't waste time in lines like I did; buy a ticket with DPA included from the start.

Personally, more than the rides,

the parades and fireworks were what I enjoyed most,

so a standard early bird ticket was enough for me.

However, my nieces and nephews who love attractions

missed out on many rides due to the time spent waiting in lines,

and I regret not getting them a ticket that would let them ride quickly, snap one more 'life shot' in front of Disney Castle,

and watch the fireworks from a prime spot.

Consider your visit date and energy levels,
