You can just type "INS" in the DiDi app and it'll pop right up!
INS Building | Clubs Floor-by-Floor

As you can see in the photo above, Shanghai INS is one huge building
housing multiple clubs, making it incredibly easy
to hop around and explore different vibes
without ever leaving the building!
With so many different concepts on every floor,
you can easily switch
from just chilling out to wild partying
as you move from level to level.
They check your ID at the first-floor entrance
(a photo of your passport works!)
and check your tickets.
You don't need a ticket just to step through
the main doors of the building.
However, to actually head inside the clubs,
you'll need individual club tickets or an all-access INS Club Pass.
(You can also choose to buy entry for just one specific club!)

Shanghai INS spans from Basement 1
all the way to the 5th floor.
To move between floors
at INS,
you can take either the elevators or the stairs—
though the stairs are usually way faster!
That said, taking the elevator is half the fun for people-watching
and making random new friends! (Highly recommended if you're not in a rush)
B1 OASIS

In the basement of Shanghai INS,
there's a spot called OASIS.
They host live performances,
have games to play, serve up cold beers and tequila,
and have plenty of room to just sit back and relax!!!
There are comfy bean bags scattered everywhere,
so when you just want to lounge around
and need some chill, relaxing downtime, B1 is the place to be.
1F

On the 1st floor of Shanghai INS, there's a space where you can take photos after entering,
plus the elevators and some power bank rental stations—
though they're pretty tough to use if you don't have a local Chinese phone number.

2F : HUSH
Hiphop &
On the 2nd floor of Shanghai INS Club is my absolute favorite, HUSH.
It's mainly hip-hop based, but
The music here is absolutely incredible!

If you're familiar with Seoul's nightlife, the music genre is super similar to Bolero in Itaewon.
This isn't one of those basic hip-hop clubs playing ancient tracks on loop until they're beaten to death!
It's almost always packed with a great crowd.
When you first walk in, there's a circular lounge area.
If you're lucky, they'll have a DJ spinning sets right in that space!
During Tomorrowland Shanghai, I literally teared up listening to a set there.
At HUSH in Shanghai INS...
Once you pass that area, there's a long, corridor-like space (just like in the video above),
and to the left of the corridor, you'll find the entrance to the main HUSH club area.
There are actually two entrances!
The first entrance takes you right near the DJ booth,
while the second entrance is the official one leading to the bar and table section.
Apparently, they even have all-you-can-drink tickets on weekdays!
At HUSH in INS Shanghai, tables are set up in the back, and there's a cozy dance floor right up front.
It's a great mix of global travelers and locals!

Oh, by the way, did you know?
The mirror/vanity areas in Chinese clubs are unisex!
While the restroom stalls are separated by gender,
the shared vanity and sink area outside the stalls is completely co-ed.
The lighting here is amazing, so if you're looking to mingle,
it's the perfect spot to chat up some local cuties! 🙋🏻♀️💙
^ ______^
Seriously, if you hang out by the mirror for a bit, people will definitely strike up a conversation...
And don't worry about safety—the stall areas
always have security staff stationed there!

KEZEE, RADI,
KEZEE

KEZEE in Shanghai spans from the 3rd to the 6th floor.
With its incredibly high ceilings,
you can think of it as the massive concert hall-style venue of the INS building.
In the back, there are terraced seating tables (almost like stadium seating in a movie theater),
and there's a huge standing dance floor right in front.

Shanghai INS Club KEZEE
feels just like an indoor music festival because of its massive vertical space!
This is actually where they hosted the official festival after-party
for Tomorrowland Shanghai,
and the production was mind-blowing.
The vibe and the overall layout were absolutely top-notch.
This is what KEZEE looks like when it's packed to the brim!
(This was during the Tomorrowland festival weekend.)
The only catch is that it's way more fun when there's a big crowd,
but hey, this is Shanghai—filling a venue is never a problem! ~ ~ ~

Wait, hold on a second...
Is Martin Garrix actually coming for the Shanghai F1 Grand Prix afterparty?
Ah, never mind, that was for the 2024 F1 Grand Prix afterparty.
Either way, there's a very high chance this year's F1 Grand Prix afterparty
will be held right here at INS!
They frequently host world-class international DJs, too.
RADI Club Shanghai
RADI is an EDM club located on the 3rd floor of Shanghai INS.
It's closest to the classic club vibe
that you'd typically expect!

At RADI, you'll hear high-energy EDM blasts,
people playing drinking/finger games at the tables,
and everyone just having an amazing time.

RADI Club inside INS Shanghai is mostly laid out with tables like this.

Surprisingly, super famous DJs like this actually drop by RADI sometimes...
It definitely has the most mainstream, major club vibe at INS Shanghai.
But
the funniest part is, lol
those drop-dead gorgeous Chinese girls in Shanghai, dripping in heavy-duty Van Cleef 10-motif necklaces,
only hang out with super rich
Chinese guys;;;;;;
Literally zero exceptions.
But honestly, they do look good together.
And those gorgeous girls have a total "closed-door policy"—super exclusive and hard to approach!
But here’s a pro tip you need to know
:
Where you find the gorgeous Chinese girls, you’ll find the wealthy Chinese guys!
Just keep in mind, those guys definitely love being surrounded by a crowd of girls.
Wait, if you're planning to visit INS Club Shanghai right now...
I heard RADI is temporarily closed for renovations and is expected to reopen after March.

On my very first trip to Shanghai,
I stayed at the hotel right above.
It was so budget-friendly and clean,
and literally took maybe 10 minutes by taxi
to get to the Shanghai club scene! ⭐️….
Highly, highly recommend!
4F: Culture Club, Dirty House
Dirty House
INS Shanghai 4th Floor
Culture Club

On the 4th floor of INS Shanghai,
you'll find the highest concentration of handsome Chinese guys.
But most of them are heading into Culture Club,
which is actually a gay club.
Unlike your average friendly local guys, they can be a bit cold/sassy.
T_T
I'm not sure if women are allowed in.
But there seemed to be way more good-looking guys here than outside the gay clubs in Itaewon (Seoul).
(I didn't actually go inside, so who knows!)
Dirty House Shanghai
INS Club Shanghai 4th Floor: DIRTY HOUSE
This is THE techno club of Shanghai!!!!!!
I wanted to go so, so bad,
but got caught up in other things and couldn't make it yet;;;
Some of the most famous techno clubs in Shanghai include
System, Abyss, Roam Shanghai,
and so on.
Dirty House is also great,
and there's also Exit.
#ShanghaiTechnoClub
5F: FRiENDS
INS Club Shanghai 5th Floor: Friends

This is a club called Friends located on the 5th floor of INS.
It's a cute spot that tries a lot of experimental stuff,
and the music is mostly hip-hop.
I haven't had the chance to go yet, but...
It looks like they are hosting events like this right now, haha.
If anyone is traveling to Shanghai soon,
please go and let me know how it was!

6F: FRESH MEN , La Fin

I heard if you go to Fresh Men,
they make a mock student ID card for you.
INS Club Shanghai 6th Floor
La Fin
Sometimes people get free entry through club promoters (MDs),
but I'm not sure if that's still the case.
Even back then, you had to get there super early to get in on the guest list.
Lots of foreigners, playing pop + hip-hop.
Personally, it wasn't really my style, haha;;;
But if you like the style of clubs on the main strip of Itaewon, you might have a blast!
INS Club Shanghai: Entry, Admission Fees, & Ticket Booking
INS Land Ticket Discounts, Opening Hours, & Reviews [2026] | Trip.com
*Prices & Tickets
At INS Club Shanghai,
v You can buy an "All-Pass" ticket that grants you entry to every single club in the INS building,
v Or you can buy individual entry tickets for each specific club.

Single entry tickets to each INS club
start around 88 CNY on weekdays ( ~$10 - ~$13 ), so
if you plan on checking out 2 or more clubs, an All-Pass Ticket might be the smarter choice.
You can buy club admission tickets on-site, or via
the links above: 1) Trip.com,
2) Resident Advisor (RA) Guide (a must-have app for festival lovers!), or 3) WeChat. However,
INS Land Ticket Discounts, Opening Hours, Reviews [2026] | Trip.com
buying them through Trip.com here is by far the easiest way.
Trying to use WeChat or the official INS app without a Chinese phone number
is almost impossible,
so stick to buying on-site, using Trip.com, or the RA Guide!
One exception: if you want to book a VIP table at a Shanghai INS club, you'll need to reach out via WeChat
or book through a club promoter (MD).
Club operating hours vary by day,
but they usually stay open until around 4 AM to 6 AM.
Peak hours are
from 11:00 PM to 2:00–3:00 AM.
On weekends, the crowd stays hyped and packed until 5:00 or 6:00 AM!

Oh, and by the way! Shanghai’s Found 158 isn't really a clubing hotspot anymore—
it's evolved more into a dining vibe now.

Eating & Dining at INS

Upper Wood
A super high-end shisha bar and dining spot.

Honestly, even though I've been to INS a million times,
I had absolutely no idea this place existed... lol
Ice Cream Shop

Looks like it's on the 1st floor.
HOMA

It seems to be an open-terrace restaurant on the 1st floor of INS,
but I haven't eaten here yet.
It looks like a great spot to grab a casual beer or wine along with some Chinese dishes.
Perfect for people-watching while you grab a bite!
Sober Company

Wait, I had zero clue this place was in INS either!
Apparently, it's a popular cocktail spot.
Where on earth is it located...?
FAFU Korean Barbeque

I actually spotted this one on the 1st floor of INS.

Ah, so this is what it looks like inside!
They serve Korean classics like pork belly (samgyeopsal) and soju.
But the interior looks like a retro Korean restaurant from our parents' generation...

I even found a photo I took when passing by because it looked so interesting!
RAKUNA
A sushi and Kaiseki dining spot.

Right next to the INS clubs,
there are portable charger rental stations like this. But since it’s quite difficult for foreigners
to use them
(you need a Chinese phone number),
don't even bother trying—just
save your phone battery!
The address of Shanghai INS Club is No. 109, Yandang Road, Huangpu District. You can easily find your destination by searching for 'INS' on the DiDi app.
A physical passport is not required; a copy of your passport is acceptable for the ID check. You can enter the venue after completing the ID and ticket checks at the first-floor entrance.
A single club entry ticket costs around 88 RMB on weekdays. If you plan to visit two or more clubs, it is more reasonable to purchase an All Pass ticket, which grants access to all clubs in the building.
Since it is difficult to use WeChat or the club's official app without a Chinese phone number, we recommend purchasing tickets through Trip.com, RA Guide, or on-site. However, if you want to reserve a table, you must do so via WeChat or through a club MD.
The peak time is between 11:00 PM and 2:00 to 3:00 AM. Operating hours vary by day, but the clubs usually stay open until 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM, and it remains crowded until 5:00 to 6:00 AM on weekends.
