I personally booked through Trip.com,
but Agoda currently offers the best price.
Yeogieottae might be even cheaper with coupons and payment benefits,
so I'd recommend checking there!

📍 Sanko Inn Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi Annex
7-4 Tsubakichō, Nakamura Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 453-0015 Japan
The location is literally right outside Nagoya Station!
After exiting the station, you just cross the street to the main road, so it's
easy to find. Plus, there are plenty of convenience stores and
restaurants nearby, which is a huge plus!

This hotel is especially great for those planning to catch a train the next day.
I stayed here because I was heading to Takayama the following day.
However, if you're planning to explore Nagoya city, I'd recommend staying closer to Sakae Station!
🕖 Check-in/Check-out | Check-in: 3:00 PM, Check-out: 10:00 AM |
👥 Maximum Occupancy | 2 people |
🧼 Amenities | Toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, comb, cotton swabs, shampoo, body wash Kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer |

Amenities can be picked up from the lobby during check-in, and uniquely,
you could even choose your pillow here! I prefer a flatter pillow, so I opted for that.
Since Sanko Inn Shinkansen-guchi Annex is right in front of Nagoya Station,
it definitely has that clean, business hotel vibe!
3. Your Budget-Friendly Stay at Nagoya Station

True to Japanese hotel style, the rooms are quite compact.
Perhaps because my previous trips were to Thailand and China, it felt even smaller! 😭

I ended up putting one suitcase on the table and
another on the floor to open them.
So, this hotel is ideal if you're just looking for a place to sleep
and will be using the train frequently!
Despite the small size, it has everything you need:
a kettle, cups, and a refrigerator.

The bathroom was also compact, but still clean
and perfectly functional!

Another thoughtful touch was their luggage storage system. It's designed so you can secure your bags with a padlock,
giving you peace of mind when leaving your luggage!

With many great restaurants, convenience stores, and izakayas nearby, I highly recommend it!
Sanko Inn Shinkansen-guchi Annex is fantastic! I ate so much just on my first day! 🧡
Sanko Inn Shinkansen-guchi Annex, a great budget hotel near Nagoya Station,
can be booked for around ~$64.
Aside from the compact size,
it's clean, well-located, and offers excellent accessibility.
If you're planning a trip to Nagoya, I highly recommend it!
Located on the main street right in front of Nagoya Station, it is highly recommended for travelers planning to take a train to other regions like Takayama the next day. If your main goal is sightseeing in downtown Nagoya, it is better to stay near Sakae Station.
Basic amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors are available in the lobby, where guests can take what they need upon check-in. Additionally, the hotel offers a service that allows guests to choose their preferred pillow height.
The rooms are somewhat compact, with just enough space to open one suitcase on the table and another on the floor. However, the luggage storage area features a secure locking system, allowing you to leave your bags safely.
