Budget-Friendly Accommodation in Haeundae, Busan
Ramada Encore by Wyndham
Busan is absolutely buzzing right now! Between its incredible street food, the vibrant port city atmosphere, and its status as a BTS concert city, it has quickly become a top destination for global travelers visiting South Korea.
If you're planning a trip and looking for an affordable yet comfortable basecamp, you're in luck. Today, I'm sharing my review of the Ramada Encore by Wyndham—a fantastic budget-friendly hotel located right in the heart of Haeundae!

The Ramada Encore by Wyndham boasts an unbeatable location. It is situated directly in front of Haeundae Station (Line 2), Exit 3, making it incredibly convenient if you're exploring the city via public transit.

You'll find everything you need right at your doorstep, including convenience stores and a Starbucks. Plus, the trendy Haeridan-gil (packed with aesthetic cafes and local eateries) is just across the street, and the famous Haeundae Beach is only a 5-minute walk (about 0.2 miles) away. For a traveler, this location is a solid 10/10!

If you walk toward the end of Haeundae Beach, you'll also find the boarding station for the popular Haeundae Blue Line Park. Pro tip: You absolutely need to book the Beach Train and Sky Capsule in advance! When I tried to get tickets on-site, they were already completely sold out.

One minor downside is that hotel parking costs an additional ~$8 per night. However, considering how affordable the nightly room rates are compared to other hotels in the area, it's still a fantastic deal.

For this trip, we booked the Superior Double Room. Since we planned to spend most of our time out exploring and just needed a clean place to sleep, we opted for the most budget-friendly category.

As expected with a standard room, it's a bit compact, but it was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. If you're traveling with family or prefer more space, I'd highly recommend checking out their Family Twin or Corner Suite options.

The room comes equipped with all the essentials: a mini-fridge, an electric kettle, and a hair dryer. There's also a small table and a cozy sofa by the window. Overall, it's a highly functional space that works perfectly for both leisure travelers and business trips.

The bathroom was spotless and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with a few basic disposable amenities.

I usually hunt for the best deals using hotel comparison sites. For the Ramada Encore, booking through platforms like Agoda or Trip.com usually yields the lowest prices.
To give you an idea of the value, I recently found weekday rates for under ~$77 per night! That is an absolute steal for this prime location.
If you're heading to Busan and need a cost-effective, incredibly well-located hotel near Haeundae Beach, I can't recommend the Ramada Encore by Wyndham enough!
This hotel is conveniently located right in front of Exit 3 of Haeundae Station (Line 2), making it very accessible for public transportation users. Major amenities and attractions such as Haeundae Beach and Haeridan-gil are also within a 5-minute walk.
Yes, Ramada Encore by Wyndham Busan Haeundae Hotel charges a parking fee of ~$7. However, it is mentioned that the accommodation fee is relatively low compared to other hotels, making it worthwhile even considering the parking fee.
The Superior Double Room is a basic room, which is a bit small but well-maintained and clean. As of a weekday in April, it can be booked for less than ~$66 per night. You can book at the lowest price through HotelsCombined via Agoda or Trip.com.
