Today, November 15th, on DOKBAK TOUR 4 Episode 25,
the DOKBAK crew visited a new Chinese travel destination: Qingdao.
Qingdao is a coastal city often called 'Little Europe,' located about an hour and a half away from Korea.
It's also, above all, a city that immediately brings beer to mind,
making it a must-visit for any beer lover.
Today, I'll be reviewing the Qingdao trip featured in DOKBAK TOUR 4 Episode 25
and introducing some Qingdao, China package tours
that let you travel just like the DOKBAK crew!

The DOKBAK crew's Qingdao trip in Episode 25
was comedian Kim Jun-ho's final chance to fully enjoy beer before he starts to moderate his drinking in preparation for having a second child.
Qingdao is so renowned for its beer that the two are practically synonymous.
It's a beautiful city perfect for a 2-night, 3-day or 3-night, 4-day trip that includes a weekend.
Plus, Qingdao's dazzling nightscape is uniquely beautiful, unlike anything you'll see in other cities.
And with countless spots throughout the city perfect for 'life shot' photos (pictures you'll cherish forever), you're guaranteed to have an amazing journey.

DOKBAK TOUR 4 Episode 25 📌Qingdao Travel Day 1 Course |
· Huilange Pavilion / Zhanqiao Pier · Zhongshan Park (Lift ride) · Lunch: Lamb Skewers & Qingdao Beer · Zhongshan Road, St. Michael's Cathedral · Dabao Island (Dàbǎodǎo) |
In Episode 25, we got to see the DOKBAK crew's Qingdao trip's
Day 1 itinerary.
As I review the broadcast, I'll continue to introduce Qingdao's core downtown attractions,
including Zhanqiao Pier, Zhongshan Park, Zhongshan Road, and St. Michael's Cathedral.

Built in 1892, Zhanqiao Pier is a bridge that stretches across the sea,
resembling a dragon gliding over the water. At its end stands Huilange Pavilion.
You'll feel like you're walking on water here, and you can capture some fantastic photos with Huilange Pavilion in the background.
While the DOKBAK crew visited during the day, personally, I found the night view to be incredibly stunning as well.
The DOKBAK crew played a 'Worst Dressed' game here.
And boy, did everyone commit to their outfits!
They asked passersby to pick the person with the worst style, and Hong In-gyu was utterly defeated!
His reaction was absolutely hilarious.

Zhongshan Park is a popular spot even among Qingdao locals, and you can take a lift to get a panoramic view of the entire city!
The lift is approximately 1,100m long, with Course 1 offering stunning natural scenery
and Course 2 providing a vibrant panoramic view of the city. The ride takes about 20 minutes.
It was both funny and a little sad to see Kim Jun-ho, scared of riding the lift, yet thinking about cutting down on alcohol for his future child.
Hong In-gyu's hat, styled after GD's fashion, flew off the lift and was lost forever.
His despairing screams brought another huge wave of laughter.

The next stop was a lunch where they could fully indulge in lamb skewers & Qingdao beer.
Interestingly, at this place, they could choose and taste beers from Qingdao's First and Second Breweries.
The DOKBAK crew was utterly amazed as they compared the two types of beer, which differed slightly in bottle shape and beer color!

When I traveled to Qingdao, I also drank
I was genuinely surprised at how
Tsingtao Beer tasted completely different from the beer I drink in Korea.
It really made me feel that you have to drink it in its homeland!
And seeing the Dokbakz crew deliciously enjoy lamb skewers, the highlight, and
Pijiu Guo (beer hotpot), uniquely cooked with beer instead of water,
made me want to visit Qingdao, China again..!
To wrap things up, the Dokbakz crew played a skewer game,
and there was an ongoing tension that felt like it would never end.
Ultimately, Yoo Se-yoon lost and had to eat a skewer absolutely loaded with garlic,
which was a big laugh!

Next up is Zhongshan Road, which evokes a European feel.
All around Zhongshan Road, there are many spots popular among the MZ generation
perfect for taking photos.
Local Chinese are incredibly passionate about photography, too.
Among these, the European-style Catholic Church (St. Michael's Cathedral), built by Germany in 1934
in Gothic style, is also famous as a wedding photoshoot location,
making it a fantastic place to take pictures!

For the final stop on Day 1, following Zhongshan Road,
we also visited Dafu Road, a new hot spot.
This is where complex cultural shopping malls and cafes, reminiscent of Germany,
are gathered.
You can also rent Wanghong (influencer) makeup and outfits, which is currently
trending among Korean tourists!
And that concludes the content of Dokbak Tour 4 Episode 25.
In next week's Episode 26, we'll see Qingdao's highlight:
the splendid night views, and since it's a city of beer,
they'll be staying at a beer-themed hotel, too!
I'm already looking forward to next week!

Wanting to go on a Qingdao trip again, I looked into the Qingdao package tour that the Dokbakz crew used!
It was Barun Tour's Qingdao, China package.
Barun Tour is a travel agency that plans package tours not only for Qingdao but also for various other cities in China,
so they offer a variety of itineraries.
In particular, as I'll introduce below,
they even let you experience 5-star hotels that capture the unique characteristics of each city.

From touring the brewing process and tasting at the Beer Museum

Just thinking about it makes me excited!

📍 Day 2 is packed with a fulfilling itinerary exploring
Qingdao's main city attractions.
Zhimo Road Market, Zhongshan Road, St. Michael's Cathedral, Badaguan Scenic Area,
Signal Hill Park Observatory, and even Mingyue Shanhaigan Nightless City!
You can also visit Aeon Mall for some souvenir shopping.
(I'll recommend some great shopping finds below!)
For dinner on Day 2, you'll get to enjoy unlimited lamb skewers!
Qingdao's lamb skewers are truly delicious, so you can definitely look forward to them.

📍 Day 3 is a simpler itinerary since it's departure day for Korea, featuring
a visit to the Olympic Sculpture Park and a hearty pork belly (Samgyeopsal) lunch.
It'll be even more delicious paired with some beer!
What I'm most looking forward to on this 2-night, 3-day package tour
is the Time Resort Hotel.
The great thing about this place is that you can enjoy fresh Qingdao beer
to your heart's content right at your accommodation –
something you can't easily find in Korea.
Honestly, it was hard to find that same fresh beer
from the Beer Museum in regular stores!
You can find information about the package tour Dokbakz went on
below!
📍 By the way, for those interested, the Qingdao 2-night, 3-day package will also be available
on SK Stoa Home Shopping at 11:21 PM on the day the broadcast ends! Check it out if you're keen!
📌 If 2 Nights and 3 Days isn't enough?
If the 2-night, 3-day Qingdao itinerary feels too short,
you might want to look into the Langyagucheng-Rizhao-Qingdao 3-night, 4-day package.
Not only will you visit Qingdao, Shandong Province's most famous city among Koreans,
but you'll also get to explore Langya and Rizhao,
which can be challenging to visit on a free and easy trip!

In Langyagucheng, you can enjoy the night view and the Water Curtain Light Show, and
in Rizhao, you can explore Sun Ancient Street, Tiantai Academy,
and even indulge in a hot spring bath.
These are places that are hard to visit on your own,
and I haven't even been there yet myself,
but just looking at the photos makes me want to go!

In Qingdao, you'll visit all the major attractions similar to the 2-night, 3-day course,
such as the Beer Museum, Zhongshan Road, and May Fourth Square,
making it a truly essential travel itinerary.
📍 The 3-night, 4-day package tour is scheduled to be introduced
on home shopping on November 23rd at 10:21 PM, so if you're interested,
it might be worth checking out.
If you're curious about the detailed itinerary for the 3-night, 4-day package,
please refer to the link below!
The Qingdao package tours we've introduced so far
include a visit to AEON Mall supermarket.
Finally, let me give you some quick recommendations
for souvenirs worth shopping for at AEON Mall!

First up, for easy and popular souvenirs, I recommend a variety of snacks,
such as Oreos, Lay's (cucumber and avocado flavors are highly recommended!),
Lay's in a bag (tomato flavor), and Pretz.
You can also buy Haidilao Mala sauce and Chinese glass noodles
together to bring home and make Malatang or Malaxiangguo at home!
It's delicious!

Additionally, I'd recommend tea or gaoliang liquor.
Tea ranges from budget-friendly options to high-end selections,
including black tea, pear tea, and Pu-erh tea, among many others.
It's wonderful to shop for a variety and enjoy them warm.
Finally, the gaoliang liquor selection, which you can get much cheaper
than in Korea, is also worth bringing back!
Look out for 100ml gaoliang liquor bottles, perfect for a light drink,
or explore brands like Jiangxiaobai Gaoliang Liquor!

Qingdao, which was even featured in Solo Tour Part 4, is a fantastic travel destination that,
despite being close to Korea, offers both a distinctly Chinese atmosphere
and a vibrant urban feel.
Especially in China, if you're traveling independently,
there are often many limitations due to language barriers and more,
so you can enjoy it much more with a package tour.
If you're short on time or want to make the most of a short, fulfilling trip
to Qingdao, a 2-night, 3-day itinerary is perfect.
If you want to explore various attractions in Shandong Province all at once,
I recommend a 3-night, 4-day itinerary.
So, we hope you'll use the Qingdao value-for-money package information
we've shared today to plan a fantastic and fulfilling trip!
