If you're planning a trip to Qingdao, China,
the Qingdao Beer Museum, a true highlight of the city,
is definitely a place you'll want to visit.

Today, I'll share how to reserve tickets for the Qingdao Beer Museum,
along with my review of the exhibition and the original brewery beer tasting experience.
Qingdao Beer Museum Information & Tickets

The Qingdao Beer Museum is where you can discover the rich heritage of Tsingtao Beer,
which has been produced since 1903. It's a fantastic tourist attraction where you can delve into
Tsingtao Beer's history, explore its brewing process, and even enjoy a tasting!

Unfortunately, the Qingdao Beer Museum isn't a free attraction, so
you'll need to purchase a ticket. However, as a popular tourist spot, buying tickets on-site
during peak hours might mean dealing with long queues.

Therefore, I highly recommend booking your admission tickets in advance using the link below.
Plus, tickets that include a tasting are often cheaper when booked online compared to purchasing them at the entrance, making it a great deal!

Next, I'll share my experience visiting the Qingdao Beer Museum.
My Visit to the Qingdao Beer Museum

The Qingdao Beer Museum's operating hours are as follows:
Since they open early in the morning and close before evening,
it's a good idea to factor this into your itinerary when planning your day!
📍Qingdao Beer Museum Operating Hours
May-October: 8:00 AM ~ 6:30 PM (Last entry 5:30 PM)
(Note: July-August: 7:30 AM ~ 7:30 PM)
November-April: 8:30 AM ~ 5:30 PM (Last entry 4:30 PM)

Upon entering the Beer Museum, you'll encounter a must-photograph spot like the one above.
Snap a photo with your visit date, and it'll be a wonderful memory to look back on years from now!

You can freely explore the museum, moving between various buildings as indicated by the signs.
It was fascinating to really delve into Tsingtao Beer's long and storied history.

You can also see how beer is made through various exhibits, photos, and videos.
Witnessing the brewing process firsthand definitely made me crave a beer even more!

So, smartly, the Beer Museum has created a tasting area where you can enjoy their original brew mid-tour.
That original brew, tasted right there at the Beer Museum, was absolutely phenomenal.
If you're a beer lover, you'll adore it even more, and even those of you who, like me, aren't big drinkers, absolutely *have* to try this original brew!

After enjoying a refreshing glass of beer, it was amazing to even see the actual packaging process – it really made me feel like visiting was such a great decision!
Souvenir Shop Shopping
Before heading to the beer bar for more tastings, you can also squeeze in some souvenir shopping.

There was even a mascot doll for the Tsingtao Beer Museum that reminded me of Boogi, Busan's mascot!
It was so adorable, I really wanted to take one home!

Beyond that, there were all sorts of beer merchandise and special brews not available on the market.
I really wanted to stock up on several bottles if my luggage weight allowed, but alas, it wasn't meant to be...!
Beer Tasting

Even though I had a glass during the museum tour, they also offer an additional glass of beer before you leave the museum.
(This is included with your ticket!)

You can also enjoy some food here, so if you're looking for snacks or appetizers to pair with your brew, you can order them together!

Since the complimentary beer wasn't quite enough for us, we went ahead and ordered the 10-beer variety set, allowing us to taste different types of Tsingtao beer.
Each type had a distinct aroma and flavor, making it so much fun to sample them one by one.
Since you're already there, I highly recommend trying these special beers and enjoying a truly wonderful time!
