is certainly one of them. It's especially renowned for its urban jungle vibe,

an eco-friendly oasis that has captured hearts globally.

Nestled right in the heart of Singapore City,

the hotel's exterior is adorned with a lush forest garden,

so much so that even those not staying at the hotel

can't help but stop to snap a picture of this iconic landmark.

The room I stayed in offered an instant delight:

the moment I drew back the curtains,

a vibrant garden view unfolded right outside the window, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the lush greenery.

What's more, a stunning infinity pool nestled amongst the gardens

made every swim feel like a rejuvenating escape, breathing in the fresh, natural scents!

The reason PARKROYAL Pickering stands out

is largely because it's a nature-friendly hotel committed to sustainability,

and that commitment is palpable. From the moment I stepped inside,

I felt an inexplicable sense of well-being.

The entire space boasts a clean, wood-toned interior,

and the guest rooms are sleek and clutter-free.

Not only was the bed incredibly comfortable,

but the room size was also quite generous,

making it perfectly spacious enough to spread out two or three 28-inch suitcases.

With a forest-like jungle unfolding just beyond the large panoramic window,

it created a magical atmosphere that made me constantly want to snap photos.

For water, there's a dispenser for purified water, allowing you to refill whenever you wish,

and the beverages in the mini-fridge were complimentary.

The presence of a table made it convenient for laptop work

and also made unpacking and organizing luggage a breeze.

If you thought Singapore was all about the Marina Bay Sands,

think again!

Located right in front of Chinatown,

I highly recommend PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering!

(It's also great for walking to delicious restaurants.)

With its tranquil and serene atmosphere

and friendly staff. What's more,

their dinner buffet is one of Singapore's

top five must-try restaurants.

Unlike rooms that offer views of Singapore's landmarks,

like the Marina Bay Sands night view,

you can experience a completely different kind of charm here.

Anyway, when you travel to Singapore,

you'll see plenty of Marina Bay Sands.

So why not have the experience of staying

at a slightly more special hotel? It'll feel like a gift.

2. Enjoy a swim in the infinity pool amidst the gardens

The PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering Hotel's pool

was so beautiful and peaceful, pictures don't even do it justice.

There were several private spaces to enjoy quiet time,

and plenty of beach beds,

allowing us to leisurely enjoy the pool.

You can change into your swimsuit in your room,

and head down in your robe.

Or, you can go to the outdoor floor where the pool is located

and use the showers and changing rooms there.

There's a fitness center on the same floor,

so you can work out while enjoying the pool view.

Since the pool is an infinity pool,

you can perfectly enjoy the pool and the overall city view.

Below the pool area,

there's also a walking path, so even for a short time,

you can enjoy a stroll feeling like you're in nature, which was lovely.

Q. Should I choose this hotel just for the pool?

Most hotels in Singapore have beautiful pools, but this one is especially pretty.

No, it's quite unique, so

you'll feel a sense of pride from having a special experience!

The depth was appropriate, and it was relatively quiet,

so it was a great way to spend a day swimming instead of exploring Singapore.

3. Breakfast at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore

Normally, when I travel,

I don't always make it a point to eat hotel breakfast,

but at the Pickering Hotel, it would have been a shame to miss it.

Lime Restaurant, located on the first floor,

is renowned for its delicious dinner buffet,

and I'd heard great reviews about its breakfast too.

As expected,

not only was there an incredibly diverse menu,

but they even had Song Fa Bak Kut Teh!

The quality was so good, you wouldn't even need to go out to eat it.

The Prawn Noodles were delicious too,

along with other Singaporean dishes, Japanese cuisine,

desserts, fruits, and bakery items.

With so many hearty and high-quality options,

one breakfast here could keep you energized all day long!

Q. Would you recommend the PARKROYAL Pickering Hotel even for a short trip to Singapore?

If your itinerary is already packed,

and you plan to spend most of your time exploring outdoors,

I'd also suggest considering more budget-friendly accommodations in Singapore.

However, if you're a relaxed traveler who wants to enjoy the entire hotel experience – from the pool and rooms to the breakfast –

then I highly recommend staying here at least once.

Because it's a style of hotel that's hard to find

in the heart of a city, whether locally or in other international destinations.
