Day 1 Itinerary
Lunch at Dynamic Kitchen (Osaka Castle view) > Osaka Castle > Park & Cafe > Shopping (Muji, GU, Kaldi) > Dotonbori > Yakiniku Dinner > Tsutenkaku Tower > Hotel

After dropping our bags off at the hotel from the airport,
we headed straight to Dynamic Kitchen, a restaurant famous for its
incredible views of Osaka Castle.
They serve beautifully presented sea bream kamameshi (kettle rice) sets,
and they offer unlimited coffee and tea.
It's surprisingly affordable for such a premium experience!

Next up was the iconic Osaka Castle!
Because we had the Osaka Amazing Pass, we got free entry to the museum
and skipped the lines for the Gozabune boat ride.

To recharge our batteries, we stopped by R-baker,
a fantastic bakery located right in the park.
It was the perfect spot to grab some pastries and enjoy a relaxing stroll.

Once we rested up, we headed over to the Dotonbori area for some shopping.
You can't visit Japan without hitting up
GU, Muji, and Kaldi Coffee Farm!
We stocked up on cheap cosmetics, snacks, and clothes.
(Don't forget to bring your passport for tax-free shopping!)

As evening rolled around,
we snapped the mandatory tourist photo with the Glico Man sign
and hopped on the Tombori River Cruise.
Getting those neon-lit photos from the water is a must!

For dinner, we treated ourselves to amazing Japanese BBQ at Toranitsuno.
Fully stuffed, we decided to walk it off by heading to
Tsutenkaku Tower to catch the night views from the observatory,
wrapping up an incredibly successful first day.

Day 2 Itinerary
Namba Station > Nishiki Market Rest Stop > Amanohashidate > Ine Funaya > Akamatsu Rest Stop > Return to Namba > Korean BBQ Dinner > Izakaya > Hotel

For Day 2, we booked a Northern Kyoto Bus Tour to escape the city.
Unlike the chaotic, shoulder-to-shoulder crowds at Kiyomizu-dera,
the Ine Funaya tour was peaceful, uncrowded, and deeply relaxing.
It was exactly the vibe we were looking for.
We took a cable car up to Amanohashidate View Land,
where we saw the famous pine forest sandbar stretching across the bay.
We even rode the Ferris wheel and mini-rides at the retro theme park
while taking in the stunning coastal views of Northern Kyoto.

Afterward, we visited the fishing village of Ine Funaya.
The traditional wooden boathouses sitting right on the water were breathtaking,
and my friend and I captured some of the best photos of our entire trip here.
I've done a few different Kyoto day tours before,
but this is one I would absolutely do again!
(Highly recommend!)

Day 3 Itinerary
Gyukatsu Tomita > Brooklyn Roasting Company > Don Quijote > Kansai Airport

Since Day 3 was our departure day, we kept it local.
For brunch, we hit up Gyukatsu Tomita
to try their famous deep-fried beef cutlets.
After that, we grabbed coffee and pastries at
Brooklyn Roasting Company, soaking in our final moments in the city.

Of course, no trip to Japan is complete without a final
sprint through Don Quijote for last-minute souvenirs
before taking the express train to Kansai Airport!
