It just happened as I picked my favorite spots!

Dalat's No. 1 Restaurant in Vietnam!
Let's start with the place I wholeheartedly recommend.
My Dalat trip was planned for 5 nights and 6 days,
and since it was my first time, I planned to stay put at a resort for the latter part, after the initial three nights in the city.
But this place was so incredibly delicious,
it actually made me leave my resort for a second time!
This is that Dalat gem.
From the very first visit,
I distinctly remember thinking, "I definitely need to come back here."
And sure enough, I found myself returning before my Dalat trip was even over, haha!
The lighting inside was so wonderfully soft and dim,
that from a distance, I actually wondered if it was closed.
To begin with, this alley isn't exactly bustling with activity,
so I arrived with some anxiety, thinking, 'Oh no, did they close down because of COVID? Did they go out of business?'
There it is!
But wait, why are there so few tables?
Excluding the bar seats,
it's basically just two large tables.
Meaning, they can only host two groups of customers at a time.
And where did I sit?
Right here, lol!
It felt like a table that was just slightly, temporarily set up, hahahaha!
(To be honest, I even wondered if they were running the business just for fun!)
And get this, their business hours are only four and a half hours a day, hahahaha!
That's practically a part-time job!
I even went two hours after they opened,
and they told me all the menu items were sold out.
Hahahahahahaha!
Normally, if a place operates like this,
they'd at least run as a cafe or something similar during the day.
But only four and a half hours a day, haha!
But it's delicious.
I want to come again.
Because it's delicious.
Honestly, as a customer, that's all that matters!
So, what exactly is so delicious?
If you're asking me that, then let me tell you!!
It's the handmade burger!!
The handmade burger is seriously good, haha!
No, I don't mean just 'ordinarily delicious'—
it's genuinely amazing. It makes you gasp, hahahaha!
The thickness of that patty just screams, "I'm delicious!" haha!
(Subjectively speaking) This is Vietnam's Dalat restaurant number one.
True, I haven't posted a ton yet,
and I'm still a newbie blogger, but...
The truth is, all my restaurant and cafe posts
(while personal tastes may vary, of course)
are genuine reviews based on my own experiences—
places I've personally visited and uncovered myself.
I don't just pick a few famous spots from a list
and casually write, "Oh, this one's great~ it's good, delicious, has a nice vibe~"
This isn't some hastily put-together post,
so I have pride in that, haha!
And the fries are incredibly delicious too.
While everyone has their own fry preferences, of course,
these are the classic, basic fries I absolutely love.
The dipping sauce for the fries was also perfectly sweet and spicy, so delicious that
I thought they were using some special, secret sauce (at least on my first visit).
On my second visit, I discovered it was just ketchup + chili sauce,
but this combination is actually amazing?! It's spicy, sweet, and totally tasty.
We also ordered pizza.
And what's the deal with pizza?
It's gotta be half-and-half!
The pizza is delicious too.
(Taste-wise, the Cheese Lover was much better than the Meat Lover!)
But honestly, the handmade burger is just on another level entirely.
To be fair, I didn't go there primarily for a meal;
I was there for the beer, so of course, I ordered some.
Actually, you don't really 'order' it;
you just grab it yourself from here.
The only downside is... there's no draft beer, just bottles.
It looks like they usually have a wider variety,
but perhaps because I went a little late on my first visit,
not all the beers you see on that wall were actually available.

This time, I didn't go for dinner,
I just went for a beer or two...
I had other pubs I wanted to check out, so I only stayed for one drink.
If I'd stayed longer in Da Lat, I definitely would have returned to this pub.
The meat looked delicious too, but I was already so full! ㅠ
So, that was the story of my first visit to this amazing spot in Da Lat, Vietnam.
It was so good, I had to visit a second time!

Oh, I didn't mention this last time,
but there's a dog here too! Hahaha.
During my first visit, it was circling around,
so I asked if I could give it some food,
but they said not to, as it would develop bad habits! Haha.
First, I ordered the handmade burger – it's already a proven winner!
Last time, I had the regular one,
but this time, I added egg and cheese! Hehe.
And I also ordered ribs.
Actually, I really wanted the smoked ribs...
but they were all sold out! ㅠ
What?! They've only been open for two hours???
Hahahaha.
They told me to call ahead next time! Hahaha.
Apparently, they prepare all their food in-house, which takes a lot of time.
Oh! I didn't mention this last time either,
but the food takes a REALLY long time to come out! Hahahaha.
I'm not kidding, it genuinely takes a while! Hahaha.
Knowing this beforehand makes a world of difference.
Instead of thinking, 'I ordered ages ago, why isn't it here yet?'
you'll be like, 'Ah, they said it takes a while, I'll just enjoy my beer.'
'Oh, it's here sooner than I expected!'
It all depends on whether you know ahead of time or not! Hahaha.
Seriously, it takes ages! Hahaha.
If you're really hungry, grab a snack before you go.
I saw a dark beer I hadn't tried before, so I ordered it.
Actually, I just grabbed it from the fridge! Haha.
I even snuck over to snap a pic of the pizza oven.
Because I kept writing things in my notebook,
someone came over and asked what I was writing! Hahahaha.
I guess they wondered what was going on since I was constantly walking around,
taking photos, and writing things down! Hahaha.
Hahaha, at this point, I hadn't even started my blog yet...
I told them I was going to start a blog! Haha.
Then they asked if many people would read it...
Since I hadn't started yet, it was a little embarrassing! Haha.

While I was taking pictures, they asked, 'Want some more of this?'
'Take it and eat!'
But I had already ordered and eaten extra fries, so...
there was absolutely no room left in my stomach! Haha.
We ordered more fries, lollllll
They were so delicious that we ordered an extra serving to go with our beer.

It came over again, giving us those soulful eyes.
Last time, I was told not to give it food because it would develop bad habits,
but I asked again,
and they said it was okay to give some,
so I offered some of the fries I was eating....
"I don't eat anything but meat..."
And with that, it haughtily turned and walked away. ㅠ
(Afterward, a staff member told us that it only eats meat...)
If only it had come a little earlier....
We'd already finished all the meat and only the fries were left......ㅠㅠ
Seriously, this place was so incredibly delicious...

Next up is Korean food!
To be honest,
I'm usually of the mindset that why would you spend good money on Korean food
when you're abroad?
But after two weeks, perhaps...
I was seriously craving some spicy ramen!
Looks like two weeks is just about the right amount of time.
You could feel the effort to attract Vietnamese customers as well.
Inside, it felt just like a Korean snack bar (bunsikjip).
The kitchen is in the back here. The owner was there!
They even have Kimchi Fried Rice and Jajangmyeon, lollll!
First, we ordered ramen, kimbap, and tteokbokki.
No. 1 is the ramen. Delicious!
The kimbap was delicious too.
I usually don't like fish cakes in my kimbap, but this was tasty.
Lots of sesame seeds.
The tteokbokki was Perilla Leaf Cheese Rabokki.
It tasted like the rabokki from Gimbap Cheonguk (a popular Korean snack chain).
The rice cakes (tteok) were a little bit of a letdown, but it was still delicious.
And kimchi after a long time!
Kimchi and ramen, what a perfect pair!
And as a complimentary treat after our meal, we got Dalgona, lol!
I tried to carve out the star once... but failed. ㅠ
Earlier, when the owner was in the kitchen,
I spotted this and took a picture of it,
and they ended up making it with this! Haha!
They must have stocked up on these because Squid Game was so popular! LOL!
And this...
was a complimentary treat from another owner who came to visit (an owner who's friends with THIS owner, haha!).
He mentioned he was thinking of a business to directly import Southeast Asian fruits to Korea,
and was researching good varieties.
He had bought these for tasting samples.
He said they were expensive mangoes! LOL!
As we received these generous freebies and desserts,
we had a chance to chat with the owners,
and I asked them various questions.
First, I asked if most of their customers were Korean,
and they said no.
When I asked about the ratio, they said it was 80% Vietnamese and 20% Korean. Haha!
Which means an overwhelming number of Vietnamese visitors! LOL!
Dalat, after all,
is a popular resort destination for many Vietnamese locals,
so it makes sense that the customer ratio reflects that.
Or perhaps Koreans coming all the way to Dalat
aren't necessarily looking for Korean food. Haha!
One more shot on the way out, hehe.
Anyway, after enjoying Korean food for the first time in a while...
and being treated to a dessert that left me stuffed, I headed out. Hehe!

I'll keep this part as brief as possible.
When you go inside, you'll see a cheese display case and
a wood-fired oven for pizzas.
There are tables both indoors and outdoors,
The interior has this vibe,
and the exterior is like this.
It has this kind of atmosphere. Hehe.
When I visited, it was raining,
so I sat indoors.
First, I ordered the food,
then went to the restroom.
There were two tables of customers who had arrived before us,
and neither table had received their food yet...
So, I thought it would take a while,
but
it came out faster than I expected!
I just ordered the vongole pasta and the first pizza on the menu...
Oh...
I really wanted a regular pizza, but
I ordered the wrong one.......... hahaha
Since we were going for beer afterward,
we didn't order any extra drinks here.
This tea came with the meal...
Was it artichoke tea?
Anyway, it was raining, and I happily drank the warm tea.

OneTables Bistro operates daily from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, a total of 4.5 hours. The handmade burgers are very popular and may sell out even two hours after opening, so it's best to visit early or call ahead to confirm availability if you want to try them.
OneTables Bistro prepares all its dishes from scratch, so it can take a very long time for the food to be served. Please be aware of this when you visit and allow ample time for waiting.
Mr Kim oppa Kim oppa pocha has a higher proportion of local Vietnamese customers than Korean customers. According to the owner, Vietnamese customers account for 80% and Korean customers for 20%.
Primavera Italian Restaurant operates from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The restaurant is closed every Monday.
We've heard that the dog at OneTables Bistro only eats meat. Please note that it won't eat other foods like french fries even if offered.
