Da Lat Sunrise Tour 2026: Experience the Morning Mist Magic
Discover the enchanting Da Lat Sunrise Tour. Witness breathtaking morning mist blanketing valleys, vibrant tea plantations, and colorful hydrangeas. An unforgettable adventure awaits!
Hello everyone!
I'm Soosukkotdari, your travel blogger.
What's the most beautiful moment in Dalat, Vietnam's highland city?
It's dawn, when the sun rises. From valleys that feel like walking on clouds, to wind turbines against a rosy sky,
lush green tea plantations, and vibrant hydrangea gardens... I'm excited to introduce a sunrise tour that lets you experience all of Dalat's charms in one go.

Dalat Tour: Why Sunrise?

Dalat is a city nestled at an altitude of 1,500m above sea level.
Thanks to its high elevation,
you can witness the spectacular sight of valleys completely filled with clouds at dawn.
The way light filters through the clouds as the sun rises,
and the morning sunbeams settling on the tea and hydrangea fields...
to see all of this, you simply have to wake up early.
That's why the sunrise tour stands out
among Dalat tours. It's designed to efficiently
take you through Dalat's main attractions from early morning,
ensuring you don't miss the city's most beautiful moments.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Here's the full itinerary. Isn't it packed with amazing experiences?
04:00-04:30 Hotel Pickup

At 4 AM, while it's still dark,
your hotel pickup begins. You might think, "This early?!"
but to witness Dalat's stunning sunrise, this is the time to depart. Since you're picked up directly from your accommodation,
there's no need to wait outside;
just head down at the exact time.
The roads are quiet at dawn, making for a quick journey.
You can even catch a few more minutes of sleep in the car. As you watch the sky gradually lighten
outside your window, you'll arrive at your destination before you know it.
Make sure to dress warmly.
Since you're traveling from a highland area further into the mountains,
it can get quite chilly. A thick outer layer is essential.
05:30 Arrive at the Valley of Flowing Clouds

At 5:30 AM, just before sunrise, you'll arrive at the Valley of Flowing Clouds. This is the first highlight of your Dalat Sunrise Tour!
Because Dalat is a highland region, the valleys
fill with clouds every morning. A dreamlike landscape
unfolds, making you feel as if you're walking
above the clouds.
The blue light before sunrise and the gradient
created by the clouds are
truly spectacular.

This time of day is truly magical for photography.
Capturing silhouette photos against this breathtaking sea of clouds
turns out absolutely stunning! And Sanmai Cafe has dedicated photo
spots thoughtfully placed throughout.

Sip on a warm cup of coffee at dawn while soaking in the ethereal mist.
While it's called a sunrise tour, it truly feels like a mystical mist tour!

Before you know it, the sun has risen gracefully, and white
clouds playfully form billowy waves across the sky.
Getting up at dawn truly feels incredibly rewarding!
06:30 Visiting the Wind Turbine Point

At 6:30 AM, we arrived at the magnificent Wind Turbine Point.
This is arguably the most famous and sought-after photo zone on any Da Lat tour.

Massive wind turbines stand proudly in a line atop these towering mountains,
and the sight of the sun rising majestically between them is utterly breathtaking. The pristine white wind turbines,
the vibrant, crimson sky, and the sprawling valley laid out below
create a harmony that feels straight out of a blockbuster film.

07:10 Visiting the Tea Farm

Next up, we immerse ourselves in the lush, emerald tea fields. Da Lat is renowned as
one of Vietnam's most prominent tea-growing regions.
The endlessly sprawling, vibrant green tea fields are truly a magnificent sight, aren't they?

Bathed in the gentle morning sunshine, the tea fields take on an even more vivid
shade of green. As you stroll along the pathways winding through the tea bushes,
the air feels incredibly fresh, and a delicate, fragrant tea aroma subtly wafts around you.
07:50 Visiting the Hydrangea Garden

At 7:50 AM, we arrive at the vibrant, colorful Hydrangea Garden. Da Lat is often called the 'City of Flowers',
and its floral beauty is legendary, with hydrangeas being particularly stunning.
Imagine a Hydrangea Garden where these beautiful blooms flourish all year long!
Strolling amidst the hydrangeas and snapping photos
is an absolute delight.

The Hydrangea Garden is actually more expansive than you might imagine, offering plenty of space to stroll and explore at your leisure. Its terraced design means you'll capture stunning photos from every angle.
Your admission ticket even includes a refreshing drink,
so make sure to claim it! That cool mango juice is an absolute lifesaver!!!

You'll even find a mini version of Da Nang's iconic Golden Hands Bridge here!
As hydrangeas happen to be my absolute favorite flower,
I made sure to get my fill of their glorious blooms!
08:30 Linh Phuoc Pagoda

At 8:30 AM, we reach Linh Phuoc Pagoda, the final captivating stop on our tour. This is a truly magnificent temple, gracefully situated right on a serene lake.
Linh Phuoc Pagoda stands as one of Da Lat's most famous and revered temples. As you walk across the bridge leading to the temple in the middle of the lake, you'll feel a profound sense of tranquility. Since it's still morning,
the crowds are sparse, and the temple's reflection shimmering on the lake's surface
creates an incredibly peaceful and picturesque scene.

Taking a leisurely stroll around the temple grounds and inhaling Da Lat's fresh morning air
instantly brings a sense of calm and serenity to your soul.
It's truly the perfect place to gracefully conclude an exhilarating tour,
offering a peaceful moment of reflection.
08:30-09:00 Hotel Drop-off

Between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, the tour ends, and
you'll head back to your hotel. By the time you arrive,
it's still only 9:00 AM! This means you'll be just in time for your hotel breakfast,
and you'll have plenty of time to shower, relax, and then enjoy your afternoon activities.
For me, after breakfast,
I spent the entire morning swimming at the hotel pool,
and then headed to Lang Biang in the afternoon.
Even though you start bright and early, the tour wraps up by 9 AM,
which allows you to make incredibly efficient use of your day.
That's the biggest advantage of the Da Lat Sunrise Day Tour!
