Nature Spa Paju Review 2026: A Jjimjilbang with Rice Field Views

Lately, due to some personal matters,

my husband and I have been utterly exhausted, body and soul.

So, on Sunday morning, we drove all the way to Paju!

We were heading to a jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouse and spa), haha!

It took us about an hour from home to get there, lol.

I'd wanted to visit this place for a while,

Because here, you can actually go outside in your jjimjil-bok (sauna uniform),

so I really wanted to come on a day with amazing weather, haha!

And luckily, Sunday's weather was absolutely perfect, lol,

so I thought, "Today's the day!", and off we went!

We arrived around 11 AM, I guess?

The jjimjilbang's parking lot was already completely full,

so we had to drive a little further in to find a spot.

It was this super narrow two-lane road.

The distance was only a few minutes' walk, I guess?

It definitely wasn't too far to walk~

I even saw a drone flying around, spraying what looked like water or fertilizer.

But it was actually smaller than I expected!

Maybe because I've been to Starfield's Aquafield so often, haha?

It felt like a place that, despite its smaller size, attracts a lot of people... if that makes sense?

Nature Spa Price List

The price for the jjimjilbang, based on 10 hours,

is ~$13 for adults!

If you only want to use the bath, it's ~$9!

For towels, women get 3,

and men get unlimited ^^ lol

You can wear your own jjimjil-bok, but those with other company logos are not allowed,

and there are no discounts for wearing your own clothes!

Rules like no outside food, youth usage, and health restrictions

are similar to other establishments~

After paying for two jjimjilbang entries at the counter,

turn around, and there's the shoe locker right there!!!

Put your shoes away, men (upstairs), women (downstairs).

Oh! Unfortunately, the locker keys aren't electronic!

So you'll need a card if you want to buy something at the snack bar, haha!

But since Toss Pay was available,

I used Face Pay quite conveniently... lol.

Since they have a Toss terminal, definitely try using Face Pay, haha!

The lockers are pretty standard! Two hangers inside.

As soon as I entered the bath area, I immediately booked a 'sesin' (body scrub) appointment, haha!

It seemed like a lot of women in the women's bath were getting sesin.

I was about the 3rd or 4th person in line,

You deposit money into the account number written there,

tell them, and then

they hang up your locker key!

Then, when it's my turn,

they call out my key number~~~

After wandering around the baths for about 20 minutes, I got a great scrub, lol.

The bath temperature was just right,

and there was an outdoor hot tub,

it was genuinely so relaxing and wonderful...

The sesin was

not too rough and felt absolutely amazing......

Personally,

at Aquafield, the upsell attempts were a bit much,

so I was really glad there wasn't any of that here ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

I had it for about 20 minutes, lol.

But seriously,

why is the men's body scrub always cheaper everywhere????

Men are bigger, after all.......

Since I finished up earlier, I looked around and noticed...

there was a salt room where you could wear your shoes and step out.

While I was in the open-air bath, I saw a round space that looked like a traditional oven, and I was curious about it, LOL!

The sign said to make sure you're dry and wear clothes to use it, haha!

So I just took a quick look around.

Anyway, I was going to the jjimjilbang next, so~~~

Near the restrooms in the women's bath area,

there's a door that looks like a fire door

leading to the jjimjilbang, LOL!

If you go out this door, you'll find stairs.

The women's bath is currently on B1 (Basement 1),

so you have to go up to the 1st floor where the jjimjilbang is!

As soon as I entered the jjimjilbang on the 1st floor,

there was a snack bar right there.

The fact that they sold cup noodles, which weren't available at Aquafield,

was incredibly touching...

And they had even more varieties!

Next to it, there was a restaurant (or something similar?),

and the real-deal drinking snacks were amazing, right???

LOL!

They even sold freshly cooked ramen... incredible!

If you put on your shoes and go out this way,

you can head outside!

Since it was lunchtime, we decided to go to Gangnam Myeonok.

To get to Gangnam Myeonok, you have to go out towards the counter area, LOL!

From there, put on those slippers again,

and cross over to the next building.

I thought it was here and walked around, but it wasn't, so I had to ask someone, haha!

But there weren't many people eating in their jjimjilbang clothes, haha,

and there were quite a few 'regular' people (not in jjimjilbang attire),

so I felt a little embarrassed, haha!

We ordered Special Galbitang, half a plate of mandu, and mul-naengmyeon.

Hmm, when I went to Gangnam Myeonok with my company before, it was just okay,

but today these dumplings were incredibly delicious...

LOL!

The mul-naengmyeon didn't come with a separate sauce on top,

but the broth was great!

The galbitang looks quite healthy, doesn't it???

The warm broth was also super delicious,

I had two cups of it!

When it was time to pay,

they told us if we went to STAY:C Cafe, located on the 2nd floor of Gangnam Myeonok,

we'd get a 10% discount, so we went.

They had indoor seating too,

but the weather was so incredibly nice that day, we chose to sit outside, haha.

We found a shady spot and enjoyed our drinks.

We just ordered a vanilla latte and an affogato, but

our outfits made us look like

people finishing a sauna in Southeast Asia

and then having dessert, right???

LOL!

I saw near the entrance that they've been featured in many TV shows.

That's probably why it says 'Unauthorized filming is prohibited'.

After eating, we immediately came over to the other side again.

Because there's a fire pit right here,

there's quite a bit of wood smoke, LOL.

With a gentle breeze outside,

no humidity,

and moments like this being rare,

we chose to savor this precious time.

I even managed to sneak in a little nap, hahaha.

I'm not sure why ice rooms are becoming so rare these days,

but this place has an ice room!!!

It was so cold I almost froze solid!

Although this is a jjimjilbang,

the sauna rooms are actually fewer than I expected.

There's only the Hanjeungmak (traditional kiln sauna), Salt Room, and Ice Room.

Just three rooms in total!!!!!!!!!

But,

the Hanjeungmak is seriously scorching hot,

and the Salt Room is the most bearable for a longer stay.

Relatively speaking, that is~~~~~

Even the general relaxation area in the jjimjilbang is quite small!!!

There were so many people,

I couldn't even take photos of the other rooms, LOLOLOLOL.

Everyone was really packed in tightly, haha.

After all that sweating again,

it was time for Round 2...

We ordered Cass beer, Banana Kick snacks, and cereal............

And a sikhye (sweet rice punch) too...

The rice fields were ripening to a golden hue,

not a cloud in the sky~

The weather was absolutely insane in the best way possible~~~~

Outside, you can roast sweet potatoes,

which are sold at the snack bar.

And guess what? There's even a huge Dyson air purifier!

From what I had researched,

I heard there were Dyson hairdryers,

but when I saw they weren't Dyson,

I asked my husband when I met him in the jjimjilbang,

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Women's Bath: Not Dyson + Paid

Men's Bath: Dyson + Free

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

I was genuinely surprised...

Oh, if only it were free for women too... T_T

There is a coin exchange machine in the powder room, though...

Looking at the menu, it seems the prices are 'market price' (싯가)...

Haha, anyway, this is the outdoor charcoal grill terrace!!

And after patiently waiting it out outside,

I finally met a little kitty too!

OMG, this little one was so sweet and gentle ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Its fur was like mink, and it was just too cute...ㅠㅠㅠ

Here are the types of ice cream available:

Since I have a mountain of ice cream stocked up at home,

I didn't really feel like eating any, so I skipped it~

They have cup ramen, various drinks, and other beverages to this extent, haha!

If I come back again next time,

I won't bother going to Gangnam Myeonok;

I'll just eat cup ramen instead!!!!!!!!!!!

The food at Aquafield wasn't that great,

so I was really craving something like ramen, haha!

But what I loved most about this place was...

the sheer relaxation I enjoyed on the terrace!!!!!!!!
