Transportation and Free Shuttle Bus Information

Worried about parking at the venue? Make the most of the free shuttle bus service! The shuttle buses operate during the festival's weekend peak days (08/29, 08/30, 09/05, 09/06) from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Experience Programs

While the festival runs for nine days, the main programs are concentrated on the four weekend days (08/29, 08/30, 09/05, 09/06). You can visit on weekdays, but if you're aiming for key experiences like eel catching, it's definitely best to plan your trip for the weekend!

The highlight of this festival is the vibrant experience programs, available only on weekends (08/29, 08/30, 09/05, 09/06).

Loess Mudflat Eel Catching (Fee: ~$7)

This isn't your average tidal flat! In a specially designated experience area filled with loess mud, the thrill of catching slippery eels with your bare hands is an absolute hit with kids.

Goby Sea Fishing (Fee: ~$4)

Enjoy a unique sea fishing experience from a deck, where you can feel the exciting tug of a fish on your line.

Muan Tidal Flat Exploration Bridge Walking Competition

This highlight event takes place on 08/29 at 4:30 PM, coinciding with the UNESCO designation ceremony. Walk across the endlessly stretching tidal flats and marvel at the wonders of nature.

Barefoot Walking on Glasswort Fields

A healing experience where you walk barefoot through vibrant red glasswort colonies! (Operated in sessions)
