Mizuka Daimyo 7 Fukuoka Review 2026: Affordable Tenjin Unmanned Hotel

Found while looking for accommodation near Fukuoka Tenjin Daimyo Street:

The ultimate budget-friendly accommodation at ~$22 per night, Mizuka Daimyo 7!

Although it's an unmanned hotel, the fact that it's similar to or even cheaper than a capsule hotel for one night was such a huge advantage that I booked it right away!

Location

Mizuka Daimyo 7 is located closer to Tenjin downtown and Daimyo Street than Tenjin Station.

Most popular restaurants are just a 2 to 5-minute walk away!

That doesn't mean transportation is bad either!

Akasaka Station is just a 7-minute walk away, so public transport accessibility is also excellent.

Room Types

Room types are varied as listed below, and the Standard Studio and Deluxe Apartment, which can accommodate a family of four, are very spacious!

Prices for a Double Room are in the ~$22-~$29 range,

and **all other rooms are in the ~$44-~$58 range**,

never exceeding ~$73!

Check-in

Since it's an unmanned hotel, you'll need to check in yourself at the tablet located in the lobby on the first floor.

The check-in process isn't difficult, as you only need to **enter your reservation number and passport information**.

Luggage Storage

It's an unmanned hotel, but **you can store your luggage in a corner of the lobby**.

Just put your bags down and secure them with the provided locks – that's it!

You can store them both before and after check-in.

Lobby

The lobby is equipped with a sink for simple cooking and a washing machine for laundry.

It's not huge, but there's a table available for your convenience!

With power outlets readily available, you can easily get some laptop work done if you need to!

While basic amenities are thoughtfully provided in your room,

if you find yourself needing anything extra, you can simply pick them up from the hallway!

Double Room

In the Double Room, you'll find a cozy double bed, a convenient table, and a TV.

Surprisingly, there was even enough space to fully open two suitcases!

Of course, being the coziest room, if you decide to unpack both,

it might feel a little snug.

Above the sink, you'll find essential amenities like combs, toothbrushes, cotton pads, and also

hand wash, refreshing cleansing water, toner, and lotion readily available.

Plus, there are two hangers on one wall for your clothes!

You'll also find a mini-fridge and a hairdryer,

though I'd say their performance was just average.

Inside the drawer, you'll discover a coffee pot and, interestingly, a dehumidifier!

It seems the Double Room can get a bit humid, possibly due to the lack of windows.

But honestly, considering the incredibly affordable price,

and since we were only staying for a single night, we happily made it work!

Neatly placed on the bed were a day's worth of towels and

disposable slippers, perfect for unwinding.

Conveniently, there were power outlets right above the bed, making charging a breeze,

and even a compact TV was installed for your entertainment.

Switch on the indirect lighting by the bed, and it creates this lovely, cozy ambiance.

It's not overly bright, but absolutely perfect for scrolling through your phone or relaxing!

The bathroom is thoughtfully separated from the shower area, making it feel

surprisingly spacious and never cramped!

In the shower, you'll find complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash,

and even cleansing oil provided for your convenience.

And good news — the hot water came on quickly and had great pressure!

Overall, I'd say the condition was quite decent.

Of course, no place is absolutely perfect, and it wasn't without a few minor points.

While certainly not dirty, I'd say the cleanliness could have been a touch better,

and, as mentioned, it felt a little humid.

But when you factor in the incredible price, all those minor points simply fade away!

If I find myself needing accommodation at a similar price point again, I would absolutely choose Daimyo 7 over a capsule hotel.
