Today, I'm thrilled to introduce you to a fantastic dessert spot that's ideal for a post-dinner treat: MIXUE Ice Cream!

MIXUE is centrally located in the heart of Chinatown, making it a familiar sight for anyone exploring the area. It's always bustling with people, a clear sign of its popularity.
I happened to pass by when there wasn't a long line, so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to finally give it a try!

MIXUE operates primarily as a takeaway spot, offering a delightful array of drinks and ice cream desserts.

While you can order at the counter, I highly recommend using the self-service kiosks for a quicker experience. The staff are usually busy crafting drinks, so the kiosk is your best bet for speed!

MIXUE boasts a truly diverse menu, featuring everything from classic ice creams and sundaes to refreshing drinks and bubble teas.
I was specifically looking for an ice cream to cleanse my palate after dinner. With ice creams starting at around ~$2, it felt incredibly affordable, especially considering Sydney's generally higher prices!
Beyond ice cream, their bubble teas are also very reasonably priced, making it a fantastic spot for any boba lover.

I ordered the Signature & Matcha Swirl King Cone.
At just ~$2, it was an incredibly budget-friendly indulgence, especially for such a popular spot!
Note that a 2% card processing fee was applied separately.

Once your order is ready, they'll call out your number. Just show them the number on your receipt, and they'll hand over your delicious treat.

While waiting for my ice cream, I browsed the adorable MIXUE character merchandise. These cute items would make fantastic souvenirs!
Inside, you'll also find a fun backdrop featuring the MIXUE mascot alongside an "I Love Sydney" sign. It's the perfect spot for a quick photo op!

My Matcha Swirl King Cone ice cream arrived, a delightful mix of vanilla and matcha. For just ~$2, the size was surprisingly generous!

MIXUE's ice cream was wonderfully refreshing and clean-tasting – absolutely perfect for after a meal.
Rather than a heavy, dense texture, it had a light, smooth consistency that melted delightfully, hitting just the right note for my palate.

What's more, it wasn't overly sweet, which made me want another one! And since I ordered the swirl, the combination of flavors kept it interesting and incredibly delicious from start to finish.

If you're dining in Sydney's Chinatown and looking for a fantastic dessert spot afterward, I wholeheartedly recommend MIXUE.
The prices are incredibly low, making it a perfect, guilt-free takeaway treat. And don't just stick to ice cream – their sundaes and bubble teas are equally delicious, so be sure to give them a try!
While the ice cream serving is quite generous, you might find yourself wishing for more once you've finished it. So, I highly suggest going for one ice cream per person!
