Singapore's downtown area is packed with incredible sights, but personally, the most unforgettable experience was the Marina Bay Sands Skypark Observation Deck!
Today, I'm sharing my complete guide on how to book Skypark tickets and my honest review of the experience.
Located in Marina Bay Sands Tower 3,
the Skypark Observation Deck requires a ticket for entry.
You can buy tickets at the door or book in advance through a platform.
Personally, I do not recommend buying tickets at the door.
During peak seasons, same-day tickets often sell out completely. Even if they are available, you might not get your preferred time slot.
That's why I highly recommend booking in advance!

Ticket prices vary depending on your entry time.
Late afternoon tickets, which allow you to catch the sunset and the dazzling night views, are about ~$4 more expensive than morning tickets.
Still, it's totally worth it to experience the city by day, sunset, and night! If you want to see the skyline lit up, I definitely recommend the ▶️ Afternoon/Evening Ticket.
Pro tip: There's a 30-minute grace period before and after your reserved time, so keep that in mind when planning your itinerary!
Adult Ticket | Klook |
Before 4:00 PM | ~$32 |
After 5:00 PM | ~$35 |
I recommend checking the link in the table above to book your tickets at the best price!

Now, let me quickly explain how to get to the Skypark Observation Deck.

Since the observation deck is in Tower 3, if you enter through Tower 1 or 2, you'll need to walk all the way inside.
If you're taking a taxi, just ask to be dropped off directly at Tower 3!

Inside the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall, simply follow the signs for "SKYPARK" until you reach the Tower 3 exit.
Head out the Tower 3 exit, take a left, and you'll easily spot the observation deck entrance.

Once inside, just show the staff the barcode from your pre-booked ticket to enter.
As I mentioned earlier, entering up to 30 minutes before or after your booked time is completely fine. We arrived about 30 minutes early and were let right in!

On the way to the elevators, there's a fascinating exhibit detailing the history and architectural process of the Skypark.
It's incredible to learn about the engineering marvel behind this iconic building!

Stepping off at the 56th floor, you're immediately greeted by panoramic views of downtown Singapore.
It's incredible to see iconic landmarks like Merlion Park and the Spectra water show stage all at a single glance.

Looking out at the towering skyscrapers really puts into perspective how prosperous and modern this city is.
It was slightly cloudy on the day I visited, but if you catch it on a clear day, the views would be absolutely stunning!

Since the observation deck wraps around the building, you get sweeping views of Singapore from multiple angles, making it the perfect spot for souvenir photos.

For me, the most breathtaking view was looking directly down over Gardens by the Bay.
I visited the observation deck before actually going to Gardens by the Bay, and seeing it from above made me so excited for the rest of my trip!

The Supertrees look like a scene straight out of the movie Avatar! Seeing the lush, vibrant Gardens by the Bay against the backdrop of the Marina Barrage and the bay was truly awe-inspiring.

At the far end of the observation deck, you can even catch a glimpse of the world-famous MBS infinity pool!
While staying at this luxury hotel comes with a hefty price tag, getting a sneak peek from the observation deck was still a fun experience.

If you have some extra time, I highly recommend grabbing a bite at one of the restaurants up here—dining with this spectacular view is amazing!

Although I didn't stay late enough to see the city lights this time, the daytime views from the observation deck were more than magnificent.
I loved being able to take in the entire city from above and snap photos from every angle. Plus, it's quite breezy and cool up there!
Just remember, to secure your preferred date and time, booking your tickets in advance is a must.
