I've been getting a lot of questions lately about
the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore,
so today I'm going to share a more detailed review
of my stay in a Marina Bay Sands Hotel Garden View room.

The Singapore Marina Bay Sands, which I'm introducing today,
is connected to the Bayfront MRT station.
However, it can be surprisingly large and complex,
so if you're planning to travel with luggage like suitcases,
I recommend taking a taxi for a smoother journey.
Singapore Marina Bay Sands Hotel
Befitting the grand scale of the hotel,
there are plenty of staff members ready to assist in the lobby.
I used the front desk located in Tower 1,
but there's also another, smaller front desk in Tower 3 on the opposite side,
so you can check in at whichever is most convenient for you.
Chatting with the friendly staff member, I mentioned that I specifically chose a garden view,
and they assigned me a room with a spacious balcony!
+TIP
I was assigned the 7th floor, and the reason was precisely the balcony.
The lower the floor, the wider the balcony tends to be,
allowing you to comfortably enjoy the garden view from the seating provided on the balcony.
If, unlike me, you prefer a higher floor over a larger balcony,
simply ask the staff to assign you a higher floor.
Booking the Singapore Marina Bay Sands Hotel
When booking Marina Bay Sands,
one of the things many people find confusing is
the difference between "Original" and "Sands Collection" rooms.
The Singapore Marina Bay Hotel offers two types of room collections,
and the key difference between them is whether they have been "renovated" or not.
Rooms in Towers 1 and 2 have been renovated,
meaning you can enjoy a stay in a cleaner, refreshed room
compared to the standard "Original" rooms in Tower 3.
*Please note that Tower 3 is currently undergoing renovation,
so there might be some noise during your stay.*
Naturally, since there's a difference in room quality,
a difference in price is inevitable.
If you take advantage of special offers or discounted rates on Agoda,
a standard Deluxe Room might be around ~$414-483 per night,
whereas a Sands Premier Room
can be booked for around ~$621-690 per night.
I was curious about the newly renovated rooms,
so I intentionally booked a Sands Collection room.
But if you don't necessarily need the more expensive renovated room,
choosing an Original Deluxe Room is also a great option.
By the way, if you use Agoda,
you can often find more affordable discounted prices,
so check it out and book according to your travel plans!
Singapore Marina Bay Sands Garden View Review
Near the room entrance, you'll find the closet and bathroom,
so you need to walk a little further inside
to see the overall interior of the room.
Ta-da! ✨
Here's the room as you step inside.
Even though the Premier Room is a standard room type,
the space is quite generous, even excluding the balcony.
Even with a king bed in the center,
and a sofa bed, table, and chairs arranged in the room,
it didn't feel cramped at all.
And by the way, the bed mattress was pure heaven! 👍
I stayed at a total of four 5-star hotels during this trip,
but if we're just talking about bed comfort,
Marina Bay Sands is hands down number one! 💚
On one side, there was a cocktail bar set up.
It's like they know it's the home of the Singapore Sling, so they've got this prepared...
The problem is... I don't know how to make them! 😅
For those who love this kind of thing,
you can enjoy it to your heart's content right in your room!
Oh, and of course, it's paid, haha!
On the opposite side, there's a mini-bar.
Not only does it have a variety of snacks and Korean ramen,
but also various types of drinks! 👍
However, when it comes to Marina Bay Sands Hotel,
since it's connected to a shopping mall in the basement,
you'll probably find yourself rarely using the mini-bar.
There are so many fantastic restaurants in the shopping mall,
so I recommend grabbing some delicious takeout from downstairs instead.
After visiting the pool, I was feeling a bit peckish,
so I decided to order room service for an early dinner/late snack....
It wasn't particularly delicious.... 😅
I can't speak for other menu items, but the pizza was just so-so,
so if you're planning to order a meal, keep that in mind.
And then, there's the spotless bathroom – just the way I like it!
From the bathtub to the shower stall, everything is ready for you.
Made with marble,
it feels even more luxurious and clean.
The vanity is fully stocked with various amenities,
and for shampoo, conditioner, and more, they provide Jo Malone products.
Products for enjoying a half-bath are also available,
so if you're a half-bath lover, you might enjoy a relaxing time
in the spacious bathtub! 💚
My chosen Garden View room
offers a sight of Gardens by the Bay from the terrace.
When the Supertree Grove light show starts, you can enjoy
the music and light show right from your terrace.
Of course, it's not quite as grand as seeing it directly from Gardens by the Bay,
but there's no problem relaxing in your room
and enjoying the overall Supertree Grove show! 🎶
Variety of Facilities
While the rooms themselves are incredibly satisfying,
Marina Bay Sands in Singapore also boasts a wide array of facilities.
Among them, the most famous is, of course,
the "Infinity Pool"
Located on the 57th floor, this pool
is the world's largest infinity pool,
offering panoramic views of Singapore, including its stunning skyline.
It's truly a sight to behold!
This place is only accessible to hotel guests,
so make sure to bring your key up to the rooftop!

Marina Bay is also home to Singapore's famous observation deck,
the "SkyPark."
It's a place where you can see the entire panorama of Singapore, day or night,
making it a must-visit for tourists.
And here's a secret: hotel guests can also enjoy this observatory
for free!
Not only is it free to use,
but there's also a dedicated line for hotel guests,
so you don't have to wait in line to enter or exit.
I highly recommend visiting the observation deck during your stay.

So, consider using them after checkout, according to your schedule!
Beyond the two restaurants serving breakfast,
you'll find famous eateries throughout the shopping mall and hotel,
as well as trendy spots like Bacha Coffee.
So, make sure to visit a variety of places during your stay
and have an amazing time! 💚
Marina Bay Sands is more than just a typical hotel;
it's an icon, a symbol of Singapore's landscape.
Personally, regardless of the hotel price,
it's one of those accommodations I absolutely recommend experiencing at least once.
Of course, it's not a budget option,
but from the rooms to the amenities and even the shopping mall,
there are so many diverse experiences to enjoy.
