1. Kura Sushi Matsuyama Location & Hours
During my Matsuyama trip, I was craving udon and stumbled upon Kura Sushi. While I initially sought an udon spot, this place is actually renowned for its incredibly affordable conveyor belt sushi. It's truly a gem for value!
You'll find Kura Sushi a bit outside the central hub. To get there from JR Matsuyama Station, hop on Tram Line 5 and alight at Miyatacho. While it's not right in the heart of the action, the journey is straightforward and worth the effort for the delicious food.

One of Kura Sushi's biggest advantages is its extended operating hours. Open until 11:00 PM, it's a fantastic option for a late dinner or a post-sightseeing meal without feeling rushed.

Just remember that the last order is taken at 10:30 PM, so plan accordingly!
Operating Hours: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
2. Kura Sushi Matsuyama Menu & Ambiance
Kura Sushi is clearly popular with international visitors, as the ordering kiosks conveniently offer an English language option. Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted, our party size confirmed, and directed to our seats with a ticket.

The interior is quite spacious, with a lively conveyor belt continuously circulating fresh sushi plates. There's ample room, even for strollers, making it an excellent choice for families traveling with young children.

While I focused on udon, Kura Sushi also offers a variety of individual dishes beyond the conveyor belt. This is fantastic if you're dining with a group, as everyone can easily find something they'll love.
3. My Udon Experience & Payment Process at Kura Sushi
As a big fan of fried tofu skin udon, I ordered the Kitsune Udon. While it wasn't a groundbreaking culinary experience, it was undeniably satisfying. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth was comforting – a solid, dependable bowl of udon that hit the spot.

The noodles were exactly what you'd expect from a quality udon shop – neither mushy nor overly chewy, just right. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite!

This restaurant is ideal when you're with friends or family who might have different cravings. The variety of sushi plates and other dishes ensures everyone leaves happy. Plus, the incredible value means you can indulge in many plates of sushi without worrying about the bill.

When you're finished, simply take the ticket you received at the entrance to the cashier. They'll scan a QR code, and your total will appear instantly, ready for payment.

Both card and cash payments are accepted. If you're traveling with family or friends and want to enjoy a delicious, budget-friendly meal in Matsuyama, Kura Sushi is an absolute must-visit. It's a fantastic alternative to more expensive options!
