and Yakiniku 298 is also conveniently located there.
It's just a 1-minute walk from Sannomiya Station, making the travel logistics super convenient for heading back to Osaka right after your meal!

We arrived right as their break time ended, so it was wonderfully empty. But by the time we finished our meal around 7 PM, the place was packed with locals – not a single seat empty!
There was even a queue forming outside.

They have both four-person tables and counter seats, perfect for solo diners or those who prefer to sit side-by-side.
2. Menu

We ordered the **100-minute all-you-can-eat Yakiniku course** for 4,999 yen per person (tax included).
Adding 1,480 yen grants you unlimited alcoholic beverages, and an additional 580 yen provides unlimited soft drinks!

If you add the unlimited alcoholic beverage option at 298, a top restaurant near Sannomiya Station, you can truly drink to your heart's content from beer to highballs, whiskey, Suntory, and more – which I highly recommend!

3. Kobe Yakiniku Restaurant

The initial platter in the all-you-can-eat Yakiniku course included a mix of beef tongue and Kobe Beef.
This was a dish I had been looking forward to since planning my Kobe trip, so seeing it immediately filled me with excitement 🥹

I'd only ever tried thin beef tongue before, but the thicker cuts here had a wonderfully chewy texture, offering a whole new kind of deliciousness.
The cuts in the meat truly brought out the savory richness and juicy flavor of the beef tongue even more vividly.

As expected, the Kobe beef was incredibly tender, melting in my mouth.
It was also perfectly seasoned, so you didn't even need extra sauce,
offering a savory umami kick
that instantly made me crave a bowl of white rice.

When I ordered rice as a side, it came topped with nori (seaweed) and green onions.
A whole bowl arrived, and rather than just eating plain rice with meat,
the crisp green onions cut through the richness beautifully,
and pairing it with the savory nori made it even more delicious.

The Wagyu, too, was incredibly tender – no words needed to describe it!
It was so juicy and bursting with flavor, filling every bite!
Even though it was all-you-can-eat, 298 Sannomiya offered such outstanding meat quality
that I truly savored a gourmet experience during my Kobe trip.

I also ordered a salad and kimchi to go with the meal.
The subtly spicy and crunchy kimchi perfectly cut through the richness of the Kobe yakiniku.
And the fresh vegetable salad was wonderfully refreshing to pair with everything.

For the Wagyu topped with green onions, you simply roll it up
and place it directly on the grill to cook.

The savory richness of the yakiniku, combined with the subtle sweetness that emerges as the green onions cook,
created a truly fantastic combination – and the texture was absolutely the best 🥹
There's definitely a good reason why this place comes highly recommended as a must-try restaurant near Kobe Sannomiya Station.

The short ribs had marbling that was truly a work of art,
and they were so tender and juicy – an absolute delight to eat.
Coated in a special sauce, they were both sweet and savory,
so even though I was full, I just couldn't stop eating them!

And let's not forget the desserts, which were just as delicious as anything you'd find at a fancy cafe! '-'
From a satisfying Kobe yakiniku meal to a sweet dessert to cleanse the palate,
it was a truly perfect course.

At 298, you can enjoy authentic Kobe beef, a must-try during your Kobe travels,
as an incredible value all-you-can-eat option!
You can truly have a complete dining experience, from the main meal to a refreshing finish,
and as a highly-rated restaurant near Sannomiya Station, it's just a one-minute walk from the station,
making it perfect to include in a day trip itinerary!
