Next, I'll share my experience using a meal voucher at KiKi Restaurant and walk you through the culinary journey.

We had a 7:00 PM reservation and, upon arrival, the restaurant appeared to have quite a few empty tables. However, it quickly became clear that almost every seat was reserved, as walk-in guests were unfortunately turned away.

When we arrived, we showed our meal voucher to the staff at the counter, who quickly verified it. We then waited briefly until our exact reservation time. It was interesting that they didn't seat us ahead of schedule, even if tables were open. So, if you arrive too early, be prepared for a short wait!

Once seated, we glanced at the menu and noticed they also offer a 2-person set menu. It included four dishes, two bowls of rice, and drinks — quite a feast, seemingly more than enough for two people!

The meal voucher we pre-purchased included the dishes shown in the photo below (excluding the beer). Honestly, even with just these three dishes and rice, it felt like an incredibly generous amount of food for two!
Now, let's dive into each dish we enjoyed.

Our first dish was the Stir-fried Leek Flowers (Chang Ying Tou), a savory stir-fry featuring minced meat and leek flowers. True to its Sichuan roots, it had a hint of chili, which cut through the rich, savory oiliness with a pleasant, subtle kick.
This touch of spice prevented it from feeling too heavy, and it paired absolutely perfectly with fluffy white rice.

Next up was the Pineapple Mayonnaise Shrimp (Feng Li Sa Chiu), which visually reminded us of a sweet and sour shrimp dish. The main differences were the creamy mayonnaise-based sauce and the addition of fresh pineapple pieces.
The shrimp were perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully plump and tender inside, all coated in a subtly sweet sauce – truly delicious! Just a heads-up, since it's fried, it's best enjoyed quickly before it cools down and loses its crispiness.

Our third dish was the Stir-fried Beef with Scallions. As the name suggests, it's a stir-fry of beef and scallions, remarkably similar to a savory Korean bulgogi. With a slight hint of spiciness, this dish was another absolute winner, perfect for pairing with rice.

Perhaps KiKi Restaurant's most famous dish is the Fried Egg Tofu. Although it wasn't included in our meal voucher, it's such a signature item that we couldn't resist ordering it separately.
The exterior offered a delicate crispness, while the inside was incredibly smooth, somewhere between scrambled egg and silken tofu. It was so soft, it truly felt like eating a savory pudding.
While certainly not bad, I personally felt it lacked a significant "wow" factor for its price, but it's definitely worth trying if you're curious about their most iconic dish.

For the dishes included in our meal voucher, plus the additional Fried Egg Tofu and Taiwanese beer we ordered, our total bill came to 1,464 TWD. After deducting the 1,104 TWD covered by the meal voucher, we paid 360 TWD for the extras, plus a 10% service charge of 36 TWD, totaling 396 TWD.
We ate until we were absolutely stuffed, and considering the amount of food, we felt the price was quite reasonable. As a Sichuan restaurant, most dishes have a pleasant, mild spice, and the use of strong spices is minimal, meaning most visitors will find something to love without strong preferences or dislikes.
It's an especially fantastic choice for those traveling with family members or groups with diverse culinary tastes.
