Skip the crowded all-inclusive resorts! Discover why Kesik Apart in Antalya's historic Kaleiçi is the ultimate family-friendly rental for your Turkish getaway.

Antalya, Turkey,
is globally renowned as a holiday hotspot,
packed with massive all-inclusive resorts.
But as a family of four, we wanted a comfortable space
where we could stay together, cook our own meals,
and explore the city freely on our own schedule.
After days of meticulous research,
we found a spot right in the heart of the Old Town
that offered the peace and privacy we craved.
Here is our full review of this hidden gem in Antalya!

01. Basic Info: Antalya Old Town Accommodation
Kesik Apart

For our 3-night, 4-day stay, we chose Kesik Apart.
It is perfectly located in the center of Kaleiçi, Antalya's historic Old Town.
Since we were traveling as a family of four, having two bedrooms and four beds
was an absolute must.
This private rental checked all our boxes and provided plenty of room to stretch out.

📍 Sakarya Sk. No:2

Address: Kılınçarslan, Hesapçı Sk. No:59,
07100 Muratpaşa/Antalya
The overall vibe is very much like a boutique Airbnb.
It's a private standalone rental. We booked it through Booking.com,
and please note that a minimum stay of 3 nights is required.
When we visited in August 2026, the rate was
around ~$192 per night,
making it an incredible value for a family of four.
(*We paid a total of ~$496 for 4 people from 08/11/2026 to 08/14/2026).

The check-in process was quite unique:
We just had to visit a nearby restaurant in the Old Town
to pick up our keys.
All communication with the host was handled smoothly via Booking.com messages.

Hadrian's Gate, one of Antalya's most famous landmarks,
is just a quick 6-minute walk (about 0.3 miles) away.
Being able to soak in the picturesque alleys and historic charm
of the Old Town every morning and evening
was definitely the biggest highlight of this location.

02. Why We Skipped the All-Inclusive Resorts
Spacious living and a fully equipped kitchen

It's true that the southern coast of Turkey is famous for its luxurious
all-inclusive resorts featuring endless buffets and massive pools.
But while planning our Turkish family getaway,
we realized we really wanted a shared space
where we could hang out comfortably together.

At a resort, we would have had to book two separate rooms,
which easily doubles the cost,
and you rarely have the option to cook your own meals.
Kesik Apart features a perfectly equipped kitchen,
which ended up being the deciding factor for us.

Plates, silverware, a microwave, an electric kettle, pots, pans,
an induction stove, a full-sized fridge, a dishwasher,
and even a high chair for toddlers were all provided.

We bought fresh ingredients from a nearby supermarket,
grilled meat for dinner, loaded up on fresh local fruits,
and saved a significant amount of money on food.
We highly recommend the M Migros supermarket, just an 8-minute walk away.

After eating, we just loaded the plates
straight into the dishwasher.
Having zero dishwashing stress on vacation was a game-changer!
03. Our 3-Night Family Itinerary Experience
Total comfort and unbeatable transit access

Traveling in the peak heat of August meant that good air conditioning
was absolutely critical to the quality of our trip.
When we visited in mid-August 2026,
the temperatures in Antalya were pushing a sweltering 104°F.
You'd break a sweat just standing still.

Thankfully, every room had powerful A/C units.
Stepping inside after a sweaty day exploring felt like walking into heaven.
The interior was impeccably clean,
quiet, and provided a wonderfully refreshing environment.

There's also a washing machine right in the bathroom,
which made doing laundry a breeze over our 4-day stay.
Being able to immediately wash sweaty clothes and wet swimsuits
is a massive perk for longer trips.

The location is unbeatable. We could just throw a cover-up over our swimsuits,
hop on the tram, and head straight to Konyaaltı Beach for a swim.
Getting to and from the water was incredibly easy.

Towels were generously stocked,
so we never even had to ask the host for extras.

There was a drying rack in the kitchen area, and thanks to the strong sunlight,
our clothes dried super fast!

They even provided an iron.
This Antalya vacation rental truly
had everything we could possibly need.

In the evenings, there are plenty of great pubs to grab a beer
and atmospheric restaurants scattered around the Old Town.
It was so nice to grab a drink and just stroll back home. Even if we stayed out late,
the apartment was right around the corner!
Because it's close to restaurants and bars,
I was initially worried about noise, but once inside the apartment,
it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful!

During our stay in Antalya,
we also booked a day trip to Pamukkale.
Large tour buses can't enter the narrow Old Town streets,
so our pickup point was near a local McDonald's just outside the walls.
It was only an 8-minute walk from the apartment,
so it wasn't an inconvenience at all.
04. Final Thoughts & Who Should Stay Here
A home away from home

Our 3-night stay at Kesik Apart in Antalya was fantastic.
Between the spacious living room, pristine bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen,
and unbeatable walking access to Old Town attractions,
it delivered on every front. We even went for morning runs!
I highly recommend this spot for families of 4 to 6 people
or small groups of friends.

If you want to deeply explore the historic, vibrant atmosphere
of Antalya's Old Town (Kaleiçi) on foot,
or if you prefer cooking your own meals and having a "home base"
for a longer stay, this is the perfect place for you.
If you're planning a trip to Antalya, Turkey,
definitely add this rental to your shortlist.
