Back in Taipei after a long time! While the MRT system is excellent, transfers can sometimes be a bit tricky, so where you choose to stay in Taiwan really matters. This time, I opted for a Taipei city accommodation in the Ximending area, and it was fantastic in every way, from quality to accessibility, which is why I'm excited to share it with you!

This means it's super easy to get to either area!

The famous Rainbow Crossing, a real landmark, is also nearby, so I took a lovely stroll there in the morning before the crowds arrived.

Personally, what truly won me over was this spacious common area in the lobby, perfect for unwinding and spending some relaxed time.

Not only is complimentary coffee available, but you'll also find some lovely snacks! This was perfect for catching up on a bit of work without needing to find a cafe. Plus, for families, they've even got toys ready for the kids to enjoy, which is yet another fantastic reason to wholeheartedly recommend this Ximending hotel in Taiwan!

Oh, and speaking of kids, get this – there's even a dedicated play area on each floor!

3. My Top Taiwan Accommodation Pick: Just Sleep

Guest Rooms, Bathrooms, and Toilets

Even with all the amazing amenities, the most important thing is truly the room itself. I booked a Superior Double Room, and perhaps it was the artwork on the left, but as soon as I stepped in, it greeted me with its unique ambiance.

The water and tea were also stocked in a uniquely stylish way, unlike other places, and the double bed was generously sized, as expected.

And the bathroom and shower area were separate. With the sink as the focal point, it was divided into a shower stall and a toilet room, and amenities were available for guests to freely pick up from the lobby.

The bed arrangement in the twin room is quite striking, so I'm curious about that room too. I plan to stay there if I visit with friends next time.

4. Just Sleep Ximending Breakfast

A wide variety of dishes were prepared, and perhaps because many Koreans stay here, there was even kimchi! The taste was pretty good too.

What really stood out to me about the breakfast at this Taiwan hotel was... the honeycomb station!

It reminded me of the honeycomb ice cream that was once so popular.

I enjoyed it with yogurt instead of ice cream!
