Let me tell you exactly why I had such a satisfying trip here, one detail at a time.

As we passed through Jeongseon's downtown and got closer to nature, the first thing I noticed was how different the air felt! Thanks to the crisp, clean air and the expansive views of green mountains – something hard to experience in Seoul – it felt like our healing journey had already begun even before we arrived 🌿

Once we arrived at Toumaru, I immediately understood why my father had booked this place. It's not a bustling accommodation in the middle of a crowded tourist spot, but rather a serene space to unwind amidst nature. My friends were all busy taking photos, raving about the wonderful atmosphere 👀

The area around the accommodation is especially open and expansive, so even just opening a window brought in cool breezes and the sounds of birds. It really felt like a view you couldn't buy in the city, no matter the price.

As soon as we unpacked, we explored the room. The interior was spotlessly maintained, and there was plenty of space for families or friends to stay comfortably, so even with several people, we didn't feel cramped!

The bedding was clean, and all the necessary amenities were well-stocked, so there was hardly anything we needed to prepare ourselves, which was another plus! 👍

What's a trip without an evening BBQ? After grocery shopping and returning, if you request it from the owner in advance, they'll prepare the charcoal grill for you right on time.

Once the charcoal was ready, we started grilling the meat, and truly, meat eaten outdoors just tastes different ㅠㅠ

It was simply wonderful to be able to create such a soulful glamping experience, with no need to rush, just eating, laughing, and chatting to our hearts' content.

This was our first trip since getting married where my husband and my friends all met up, and I was a little worried it might be awkward at first. But maybe it was because my husband personally picked up my friends from Seoul and really set the mood, because everyone quickly hit it off!

With some grilling meat, some cooking ramen, and others capturing all the moments with photos, everyone naturally fell into a role, and it truly felt like being back on a college MT (membership training) trip!

As the night grew deeper, stars began to twinkle one by one in the sky, and we found ourselves chatting away until the late hours, soaking in the cool, crisp air.
