If you're looking for a spotless, incredibly safe destination in Southeast Asia,
Singapore is undoubtedly at the top of the list.
With its dazzling night skyline and world-class shopping,
it's a massive hit for family getaways,
or unforgettable trips with friends.
Every great Singapore adventure starts with the flight
and the airport arrival experience.
Today, I'm sharing my flight booking tips, a review of Jeju Air,
and a step-by-step guide to breezing through Changi Airport!

First, let's talk about average flight prices.
For flights to Singapore, even budget airlines (LCCs) rarely drop
below ~$385 for a round trip.
(Though you can sometimes find layover flights through China for around ~$230.)
During the off-season, you might get lucky and spot fares in the ~$230 range,
but with the upcoming winter holidays this December,
finding those ultra-budget flights will be much harder.

For reference, I got incredibly lucky last August
and snagged a round-trip from Busan (Gimhae) to Singapore for just ~$269.
If you're planning your own Singapore itinerary,
consider anything between ~$230 and ~$308 a fantastic deal,
and prices between ~$308 and ~$385 are still very reasonable.

Next up, let's dive into my round-trip experience
flying with Jeju Air to Singapore.

I boarded Jeju Air Flight 7C 2661,
departing Gimhae Airport at 6:00 PM.
We boarded at Gate 9, and thankfully, there were no delays.

The first three rows are their premium 'Biz Lite' seats,
which offer wider chairs and plenty of legroom.

The standard economy section follows a 3x3 layout.
For a 5'11" adult male, the legroom was an exact, snug fit.
Since the flight time is about six and a half hours,
which isn't exactly short, it did get a little uncomfortable.

No complimentary in-flight meals were provided,
but you could purchase drinks on board.
I brought my own beverage before boarding,
so I just bought a cup of ice for ~$1!

After flying for six and a half hours,
we touched down at Changi Airport Terminal 4 at 11:35 PM local time.

The arrival terminal was surprisingly quiet,
and it looked like ours was the only flight landing at that hour.

A quick heads-up: Before visiting Singapore,
you must submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC).
You can easily fill this out online before you fly,
and if you've done it, just follow the 'Yes' signs at immigration.
The entire immigration process is automated through e-gates,
and I didn't wait even a single minute.
It basically felt like a VIP fast pass.

As you walk past the arrival duty-free shops,
you'll find the Terminal 4 baggage carousels.
If you checked a bag, this is where you grab it.
Personally, I highly recommend traveling with carry-on luggage only
to completely minimize your wait time upon arrival.

To wrap up this flight info
and arrival guide:
Flight tickets under ~$385 are generally considered a solid deal,
so if you see prices in that range, it's safe to book.
My Jeju Air experience was decent,
though the lack of legroom made it a bit cramped.
However, since it's an evening flight, if you plan to sleep the whole way,
you probably won't mind it too much.

Finally, do not forget to fill out your SG Arrival Card
and get it approved before you land.
With that out of the way, immigration takes less than 5 minutes,
so you won't have to worry about long lines.
If you're gearing up for a trip to Singapore,
I hope these tips help you start your journey right!
