it departs from Incheon T1 at 7:15 PM

and arrives at Hanoi Noi Bai T2 at 10:20 PM.

The flight takes 5 hours and 5 minutes, and the aircraft type is A330-200.

The return flight is WE272.

On Sunday, November 29th,

it departs from Hanoi T2 at 11:40 PM

and arrives at Incheon T1 at 5:50 AM on November 30th.

The flight duration is 4 hours and 10 minutes.

Since it departs on Sunday night,

it's a schedule that lets you maximize your last day.

However, since it arrives early Monday morning,

it might be a tight squeeze if you need to head straight to work.

For a trip with a friend or as a couple,

November Fuel Surcharge: Don't Forget to Check Your Ticketing Date!

For Korean national carriers,

the international fuel surcharge for November

has climbed from stage 23 to stage 27.

Good news: it's based on the ticketing date,

so if you snag your ticket by October 31st, you'll still get the October rates.

Just a heads-up: if you change your travel dates or re-issue your ticket,

the fare might be recalculated based on the rates at that specific time.

So, it seemed smarter to book in advance

only if your travel plans are completely set.

My Parata Air Flight Review: Hanoi to Incheon

I hopped on flight WE272, and the aircraft was an A330-200.

It was pretty unique for an LCC

to be using such a spacious, medium-to-large aircraft for an international route.

We departed right on schedule, no delays at all!

And the seat I landed was a Comfort Seat.

It featured a 2-4-2 layout,

and I was in the third seat of the middle four-seat row.

Unlike many international LCCs, there was no feeling of my knees banging into the seat in front of me.

The seat pitch was roughly 33 inches,

leaving about a fist's width

plus a couple more fingers, in front of my knees.

Having two aisles meant shorter queues when heading to the restroom or

grabbing luggage felt much quicker.

Since Comfort seats don't come with complimentary meals and you have to order them,

I ate the Signature Ramen with Abalone Topping (~$9).

The Eel Rice Bowl was ~$19, and that needs to be pre-ordered.

The welcome drink was on the house,

and I could pay with my card right on board.

The broth was rich and satisfying, and the portion size was pretty generous too.

Plus, it came with some delicious stir-fried kimchi!

Even though my flight from Hanoi to Incheon was in the early hours of the morning,

I still managed to catch a stunning sunrise from my side, even without a window seat!

What I Loved

· Super generous seat pitch for an international LCC

· Easy to move around thanks to two aisles

· Right on time departure

A Few Things to Note

· As a newer airline, mileage and partner benefits are still quite limited

· In-flight meals for Comfort seats are an extra charge
