I want to go back〰️〰️〰️
After my working holiday in Australia back in 2013,
I returned to Sydney, missing Australia dearly.
My sister and I diligently saved up our money,
and without flinching at Sydney's high prices,
we truly enjoyed a luxurious hotel stay.
The Hyatt hotel's condition was quite pleasing,
so I'm sharing this hotel review,
as both a record and to pass on information.

Getting from the Airport to the Hotel

From Sydney Airport to the city center,
many people use the train, private pick-up & drop-off, or shared shuttles.
However, the train can be a bit challenging if you're carrying heavy luggage,
so I wouldn't recommend it for its value.
My sister and I traveled together, so
we opted for a private shuttle.
If you want to use a shuttle that matches your Sydney arrival flight time,
⬇️⬇️please refer to the link below.
They even comfortably dropped off our luggage,
and the hotel staff immediately took our bags, so
we could easily walk from the hotel entrance to the lobby without any hassle.
And, wouldn't you know it! The young man who helped with our luggage...
so handsome....

📍Location: 161 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000
Befitting a 5-star hotel, there were many limousines,
and the staff greeted us warmly right from the hotel entrance.
Every single hotel staff member we encountered
was incredibly friendly, so
we were absolutely satisfied throughout our stay〰️〰️.

Although we arrived earlier than the check-in time,
(we arrived even before noon)
after registering as members,
they allowed us to check in early.
They say there's a Korean manager on-site,
but I didn't get to meet any Korean staff
during my visit.

There are a total of 15 floors for guest rooms,
and we were assigned to the 8th floor‼️
It wasn't a super high floor, but
since we booked a guaranteed harbour view,
we were excited even before stepping inside...

Twin Room Condition
Tta-ra-la-la-la~~~
Let's put on the 'Love House' theme song...
(Actually, it was more like a ruckus and squabbling!)

A room embracing Darling Harbour
Dal-Poom-Bang

A twin room with two single beds peacefully arranged.
Both the bedding and the mattress were incredibly comfortable,
so I slept like a baby for both nights.
While the room wasn't super spacious,
it had a sofa,
which was perfect for enjoying Darling Harbour's night view💜.

It even displayed 'Good morning' along with our names,
room information,
room service,
and since it's a smart TV, mirroring is also possible.
Hotel service information
can also be easily checked :).

Due to the eco-friendly policy,
the hotel amenities are quite simple,,

Complimentary bottled water is available for membership members,
and since the mini-bar is chargeable,
let's definitely not touch it! 😉

Hangers, an iron, and a safe were provided,
and there was a bathroom robe too!

The tea bag selection was incredibly generous, I loved it!
Aurora coffee and tea.
Plus, there was an ice bucket,
which made me think it would be perfect for wine,
and it turns out there was even an ice dispenser in the hallway!

I easily connected to the Wi-Fi,
but if you want to use your phone freely
without worrying about data,
get a 20% discount on USIMSA
and buy your SIM card! 😇

In a hotel like this, I'd usually be happy just lounging in the room,
but the one going to the Coldplay concert on arrival day?
That's me! 😉
I simply didn't have time to relax at the hotel..

Coldplay Korea concert T-shirt and wristband –
all neatly packed and worn,
and off went Amy Miranda!! 🚀

In the meantime, our R.J.
can relax in the room for me!

At night,
in the rising morning sun,
and even enjoying the sunrise/sunset,
the Hyatt Regency Sydney's Harbor View was absolutely wonderful.

Hyatt Regency Accommodation Price
At the time, I was a bit lazy,
so I booked a 'Geumkkagi' package with Naeil Tour (Tomorrow Tour),
and bought the hotel + flight together,,
booking it for around ~$276 per night, including breakfast.
It's already been about two years since I went to Australia,
so even with rising prices and the appreciation of the Australian dollar,
you can still book the Sydney Hyatt Regency for around ~$276 per night.
I've personally dug up the lowest price comparisons for you!
Both the room and the breakfast-inclusive price,
Agoda is cheaper by about ~$1 per night,
so I recommend booking with Agoda! 🤩
Including the Chuseok holiday period,
based on a stay from September 21st to 27th.

~$361 (with breakfast ~$402) | ~$360 (with breakfast ~$401 ) |
And since the breakfast is absolutely fantastic,
I absolutely recommend breakfast!

I'll be back soon with a review of the breakfast!
