Hyatt Place Yeonsan Summer Package✨

July in Korea brings that classic hot and humid summer weather 🥵
On days like this, don't you just crave a cool ocean breeze and a relaxing, air-conditioned staycation?
Busan is *the* place to be in summer. But since it's peak season, beachfront hotels near Haeundae or Songjeong Beach get so expensive for what they offer. It can be quite a headache, right? 🥲

But here's the good news! The brand-new ✨Hyatt portfolio hotel✨, Hyatt Place Yeonsan, has launched a limited summer package (only 20 rooms per day!). It includes a free shuttle service from Yeonsan-dong to Songjeong Beach, plus access to Songjeong beach umbrellas, sunbeds, and shower facilities!
Even better? You get free access to the hotel’s rooftop pool!
With rates starting at a super reasonable ~$250 to ~$262 for a 2-night stay, I was absolutely thrilled. Let me share all the details with you! >.<
1. Hyatt Place Yeonsan Summer Package - A Detailed Look

The Hyatt Place Yeonsan Summer Package is a special 2-night summer offer that perfectly combines a chic city stay with beachside leisure.

2. Checking in to Hyatt Place Yeonsan

Here is a quick look at my 3-day, 2-night itinerary:
▪ Day 1: Check-in, hotel relaxation & rooftop swim
▪ Day 2: Splashing & surfing at Songjeong Beach
+ Dinner at the hotel's ALTO restaurant
▪ Day 3: Breakfast & checkout
Parking is super easy in the underground garage via the back entrance!
A lot of beachfront hotels in Busan charge extra for parking,
but here in Yeonsan-dong, parking is completely free 💖

Even though it was the weekend, the parking lot was so spacious
and super easy to use!

The parking garage goes from floors B1 to B4,
the 5th floor has the fitness center and sauna
(fitness center is free for guests, sauna is ~$6),
the 6th floor is the lobby with the check-in counter,
and the 28th floor features the rooftop pool and ALTO restaurant.
Heading up to the 6th floor!

Isn't the lobby just absolutely stunning? 💖
After a smooth check-in, we headed up to our room.

Our room was a twin type,
located on the 12th floor with a city view.

The room was incredibly clean and fresh,
and I was honestly shocked by how much larger
it was compared to standard hotel rooms.
With two beds, it's perfect for two adults
to enjoy a super comfortable staycation in Busan.

There are plenty of spacious shelves and closet space,
so you don't have to leave your suitcases on the floor creating a mess.

There's a table and chairs,
which is great for having a quick snack,

and the bathroom is divided into a vanity, shower room, and toilet,
making it super practical!
The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash amenities provided
smelled so incredibly good!
It felt like a total healing session while showering. 👍

On the shelf, they had coffee drip bags and black tea ready for us,

and we also got a welcome fruit cup as a package perk
and enjoyed it so much! hahaha
From kiwi to peach, it was pure bliss 💖
2. Swimming + Surfing at Songjeong Beach 🏄

We took the 9 AM shuttle bus
and arrived at Songjeong Beach. +.+ Yay!~
They said we could use all the parasols, tubes,
picnic mats, and sunbeds here completely free of charge! 👍

They even provided us with a beach ball, bottled water, a plastic bag,
and beach towels.
It felt just like a mom packing a picnic bag for her kid... ✨

First, we grabbed a spot on the sunbeds,
organized our things,
changed into our swimsuits in the changing room,
and dived right into the water! +_+

Since it's a famous surfing beach,
the waves were so cool and refreshing.
Riding the tube rented from the hotel,
it was seriously so much fun—
honestly way better than a water park! 😖👍
Once you're done with the tubes,
you just return them to the beach staff,
so there's no hassle of cleaning up. So convenient! 💖

After having a blast in the water,
we found out we could get a surfing lesson for ~$26 per person
through a special collab between Hyatt Place Yeonsan X DaySurf Busan,
so we decided to give surfing a try!

With its super trendy, aesthetic shop vibe
and friendly, detailed instruction,
Songjeong DaySurf is already super famous around here!
After a quick theory lesson,
we put on our wetsuits and headed out to the surfing-only zone.
(Wetsuits are rented for free, but we highly recommend wearing your swimsuit underneath!)

We learned all the basics,
from the paddling posture to the safety fall technique.

Since Typhoon Bavi was affecting the area that day,
the waves were incredibly strong,
making it a bit challenging for beginners like us.
But the instructor never gave up on us and kept guiding us until the end,
making it such a fun, touching, and unforgettable day. 🏄✨
3. Making the Most of Our Busan Staycation ✨

After heading back to the hotel from Songjeong,
we headed straight up to the 28th-floor rooftop pool.
Usually, there's a fee of ~$13 per visit for hotel guests, but
And the best part? It was completely free as part of our package perk!
The pool is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

There's also a separate kids' pool,
making it the perfect spot for a family staycation in Busan!
✅ [Quick Tips] Pool Guidelines
Please shower in your room first, then head to the pool wearing your swimsuit and bathrobe.
※ Note: In-room slippers are not allowed, and wearing a swim cap or hat is mandatory.

After all that splashing around, we worked up a serious appetite!
We decided to keep our Busan staycation vibes going strong
at Alto Restaurant on the 28th floor, right next to the pool.🤍

Hotel guests get a 10% discount on food menu items,
plus a complimentary glass of welcome wine per person! 💖
They have restaurant coupons at the front desk when you check in,
so make sure to grab one before you head up. Trust me, the food here is amazing!

We were so hungry that even though there were only two of us,
we ordered the Shrimp Pollock Roe Cream Pasta, Striploin Steak,
and a Sausage Platter, washed down with some cold beer.
Every single dish was absolutely top-tier quality; we were blown away!
Honestly, it easily beats most of the famous pasta places in Busan. 👍

There's also an outdoor terrace on the 28th floor,
which is perfect for soaking in the night views and enjoying the cool evening breeze.
And that's my review of our 2-night stay at the Hyatt Place Yeonsan
for their newly launched 2026 Summer Package!
