Getting here is a breeze. From Nagoya Station, catch bus #32 (you can also take #30, #31, #33, #34, #35, or #36—whichever arrives first!) and get off at the Matsuzakaya-mae stop. From there, just head down the alleyway next to the local donburi (rice bowl) restaurant.

Walk a few steps down, and you’ll spot the sleek FORZA entrance on your right. Head right in!
Exploring the Hotel Lobby & Amenities
The reception desk is located on the 3rd floor, so head straight up the elevator. If you arrive before the official 2:00 PM check-in time, the lobby lounge is a lovely place to relax. The staff is incredibly attentive and will come over to assist you with pre-check-in details.

The lobby itself is modern and spotless. Even better, they have a complimentary coffee machine and even wine available for guests! Next to the front desk, you'll find a fully stocked amenities bar. You can grab whatever extra skincare, bath essentials, or toiletries you need for your stay.

They also have a beautiful lounge space. They serve a daily breakfast buffet from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM for about $12 USD for adults and $6 USD for children. The lounge is also open for general use from 10:00 AM all the way until midnight!
A Peak Inside the Rooms

We were assigned a room on the 15th floor, which offered a fantastic sweeping view of Nagoya's skyline.

The room interior was clean, cozy, and incredibly inviting. It was so well-heated that we actually found it a bit warm, which is perfect if you're visiting during the cooler months! While Japanese city hotel rooms are notoriously compact, this was the perfect size for two people to relax comfortably.
Though I didn't grab a photo of the bathroom, it was exceptionally clean and came with a full-sized bathtub. It was the perfect excuse to drop in a Lush bath bomb after a long day of walking!

Right by the entrance, there's a handy hanging rack for your coats and jackets.

You'll also find mugs, tea bags, a hairdryer in the drawer, and a compact mini-fridge to keep your drinks cold.
The Verdict
Hotel Forza Nagoya Sakae checks all the boxes for a perfect city stay. Its prime location in Sakae, easily accessible by several bus routes from Nagoya Station, makes exploring the city incredibly easy.
The staff is exceptionally warm, the lobby is pristine, and the free-flowing coffee and wine are wonderful perks. The amenities bar—especially the relaxing bath salts—adds that extra touch of hospitality.
If you're looking for a clean, modern, and highly affordable place to stay in Nagoya, I can't recommend Hotel Forza Nagoya Sakae enough!
