1. Why You Absolutely Need to Visit Mong Kok, Hong Kong

Anyone heading to Mong Kok, Hong Kong?
It's a district famous for its authentic Hong Kong local vibe and as a shopping paradise!
What's special is that it's more frequented by locals than by tourists.

If you visit on a weekend or holiday, the population density is absolutely buzzing!
With the Ladies' Market, Sneaker Street, and Bird Market, it's also a must-visit destination for tourists.

It's renowned for offering better value than hot spots like Central or Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island.
That's why locals often head to Mong Kok for their shopping!
2. Langham Place: My Top Pick for Shopping in Mong Kok, Hong Kong

With Grand Plaza, MOKO, Langham Place, T.O.P., Argyle Centre, and many more,
Mong Kok is a shopping paradise because it boasts an incredible number of shopping malls.
But if you could only pick one?
I would absolutely recommend Langham Place!
Do you see the escalator in the video?
Langham Place is famous for having one of the world's longest indoor shopping mall escalators!
The Mid-Levels Escalator is famous in Hong Kong, right?
It's a major transportation link in Central and even featured in the movie Chungking Express, making it a must-do on any Hong Kong itinerary.
But!
As a shopping enthusiast myself!
Personally, I found this particular escalator inside the mall even more exciting!
It's an impressive 45 meters long, offering a fantastic experience as you ascend and take in the sights of the mall.

Plus, Langham Place gathers brands spanning all price ranges, from budget-friendly to high-end.
You're bound to find at least one item that captures your heart there!

3. Rabeanco: A Hong Kong Fan's Favorite Brand
When you go shopping in Hong Kong, naturally you'll want to discover brands you can't find back home, right?
This time, my chosen brand is none other than Rabeanco!
It's a fantastic value mid-range bag brand, offering high-quality genuine leather.

It has a similar vibe to Charles & Keith, which is a bit more well-known in Korea.
If Charles & Keith suits teenagers to those in their twenties,
Rabeanco feels just right for people in their twenties and thirties?
They're similar in that they both offer many designs perfect for daily wear!

However, while Charles & Keith offers great value, it was a pity that their bags weren't genuine leather.
Rabeanco, on the other hand, uses genuine leather.
📍 RABEANCO
Shop B1-23, Level Basement 1 Langham Place, 8 Argyle St, Mong Kok, Hong Kong
You'll find it on B1 of Langham Place, and the store is quite spacious, so it's easy to spot!
This is where I found the most satisfying shopping items during my Hong Kong trip!

RABEANCO is a brand that originally started in Milan, Italy, in the 80s.
Currently, it's designed in Hong Kong and Singapore.
There are no stores in Korea!
That's why it's a must-visit shopping hotspot in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, especially when you're traveling here!
Amazing value for money, making it incredibly popular!
Beware of the crowds!
When I visited, it was packed with people.
It wasn't easy to take photos because of the crowd, but I tried my best!

As expected from a leather specialty brand, the material and finish were truly luxurious.
Currently, Rabeanco only has stores in Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong.
It offers great value and is already a popular brand, so the store was really crowded!
Isn't the black bag below just gorgeous?

I really wanted to buy it, but someone else had already reserved it, so I couldn't get it... Such a pity!
Since it's affordable and elegant, it's very popular, so I highly recommend grabbing any design you love right away!

Even for a mid-range brand, the finishing and details were exceptionally well done.
Most of the bags are leather, yet many designs are light and practical.
The bags I picked were all made from cowhide, calf leather, or goat leather.

They also had wallets and other key ring items.
But I focused on bags that I could carry during my Hong Kong trip!
The designs were so diverse that I ended up browsing for a really long time!

Rabeanco, with its own designs developed in Hong Kong & Singapore!
Bag prices range from about ~$219 to ~$365, placing it in the mid-range category.

Items on sale were in the early ~$146 range.
The great value for money made me consider buying several items!
4. My honest review: I got 3 bags!
March Soft Book Bag

There were many structured bags here that would be perfect for carrying to the office!
My first pick was a laptop bag, which is essential for any office worker!
It's the one on the far right in the photo below.

While it's a women's brand, this particular design felt suitable for both men and women.
I chose it so my husband and I could use it together.
Usually, designs like this can be quite heavy, right?
But even though it's calf leather, it was surprisingly light, so I just couldn't pass it up!

Honestly, at first, I was really torn between this design and the work bags above.
But since this bag is big enough to comfortably fit a slightly larger laptop or A4-sized documents, I picked this one!
It has plenty of storage space, looks neat, and the slightly rounded finish adds a touch of cuteness.
Saoi Jean Belt Bag

Ah, this one was the item I agonized over the color until the very end!
It's a bag inspired by jeans, and isn't it just so stylish?
It's the perfect design for a daily shoulder bag.
The black color with white stitching makes it look even more fashionable.

The brown one, on the other hand, has a more subdued feel because the stitch tone is consistent.
That's why even though it's the same design, they looked so different!
Ultimately, I chose black because it's more practical and versatile for everyday use!
Grace Backpack

And finally, a bag I picked out as a gift for my mom!
This versatile gem can be styled in 3 ways by adjusting the strap.
It's a cute bag that can be worn as a backpack, a shoulder bag, or a cross-body.
With its cute yet sophisticated design, I think it would look great on anyone from their teens to their sixties!
It's lightweight and practical, making it perfect for a gift.
