Hong Kong Flights 2026: Booking Tips for 2-Night Trips

If you're looking for Hong Kong flights,

beyond just the round-trip fare, also consider your return flight time!

It's really worth comparing them carefully~!

When I go on a 2-night, 3-day international trip,

heading to the airport first thing on the last morning

always feels like such a waste, haha.

Since you're going all the way to Hong Kong,

it's great to grab one more dim sum meal and do some last-minute shopping

before flying back on a night flight, right? 😉

So this time, I compared direct flights to Hong Kong departing from Incheon,

divided into weekday and weekend trips in November.

From prices including luggage to flight+hotel packages,

I'll break down everything, including Trip.com discount codes!

November Hong Kong Flight Prices

The weekday itinerary is November 17th (Tuesday) to 19th (Thursday),

and the weekend itinerary is November 20th (Friday) to 22nd (Sunday).

This is based on one adult, round-trip direct flights,

and the departure and arrival times were the same for both itineraries.

2. Weekday vs. Weekend Comparison

I expected weekend flights to be much more expensive,

but this time, the difference was smaller than I thought, haha.

For fares without checked baggage,

weekday was ~$238 and weekend was ~$258,

the difference was ~$20.

Looking at the 20kg baggage fares,

weekday was ~$277 and weekend was ~$303!

The difference is ~$25.

If you have the flexibility to take time off,

I'd definitely choose a weekday trip,

but for those who need to depart on a Friday,

a weekend trip is certainly worth considering too! 😉

3. My Chosen Flight Times

My outbound flight departs Incheon at 12:25 PM,

arriving in Hong Kong at 3:30 PM.

No need to rush to the airport at dawn,

and on the first day, after dropping off my luggage at the hotel,

it'll be perfect for enjoying Hong Kong's evening.

But what I really loved was the return flight!!

It departs from Hong Kong at 9:05 PM.

Even on the last day, you can have a meal and do some shopping

before heading to the airport. That's

a pretty big advantage for a 2-night, 3-day trip, haha!

However, the arrival in Incheon is at 1:30 AM the next day!

The weekday itinerary arrives on Friday, November 20th,

and the weekend itinerary arrives on Monday, November 23rd.

You'll definitely need to consider how to get home from the airport

and your plans for the next day.

4. Flight+Hotel Bundle Discounts

I was initially just looking at flights to book,

but I also checked prices that bundled flights with a hotel.

On Trip.com, when you book flights + hotels,

you can get **up to 25% off**...!

However, you'll need to check the eligibility requirements

to see if that discount rate applies directly

to Hong Kong packages booked from Korea.

Hopewell for weekdays was listed ~$97 lower than booking separately,

and for weekends, it was a ~$103 difference!!

5. Checked Baggage

There's a reason why you shouldn't instantly book

a flight just because it's in the ~$230s.

The cheap fares I saw

didn't include checked baggage.

If you opt for the 20kg baggage fare,

an additional ~$39 is added for weekdays, and ~$45 for weekends.

If you're planning to check a suitcase,

the price including baggage is the real benchmark for comparison, right?

However, make sure to check the booking details

to confirm if it's 20kg for both outbound and return flights,

and how much carry-on baggage is allowed!

If you have flexibility with your travel dates,

compare round-trip flights starting from ~$239 for weekdays,

and from ~$258 for weekend trips.

If you need a suitcase, check prices that include baggage;

and if you're planning to book a hotel too,

also look at the flight + hotel bundle prices.

Most of all, I really liked the late-night return flight

that allowed me to spend time in Hong Kong

until the very last day, haha!
