Hong Kong Disneyland DPA Ticket Strategy

Hello, Nori here!!
I recently visited Hong Kong Disneyland,
which is known as the smallest Disney park in the world!
Ticket prices can fluctuate quite a bit depending on the season,
and information often changes.
So, I'm bringing you the latest details, accurate as of October 2026!!!

If you're planning to book, definitely keep this in mind, and
I've even got some tips for snagging cheaper tickets!
Hong Kong Disneyland |
📍 Central
Hong Kong Central
📍 Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong
Operating Info | |
Nearest Station | MRT Disney Resort Station |
Operating Hours | Weekdays 10:00 AM ~ 8:00 PM Fridays 10:30 AM ~ 8:00 PM Weekends 10:00 AM ~ 8:30 PM Always check the official website for current hours |
Showtimes | Parade 3:00 PM Fireworks (subject to change) Weekdays 8:00 PM, Weekends 8:30 PM |

One of its biggest perks is its fantastic accessibility from the city center,
making it super easy to get to!!

While it might be smaller in scale compared to other Disney parks,
don't let that fool you into thinking it lacks attractions.
On the contrary, for its size, it boasts a great number of attractions,
and many of them are incredibly fun!
Hong Kong Disneyland Tickets |
The very first thing you'll need to sort out before your visit
is your 'admission ticket'.

How to Get There & Location | |
1-Day Ticket | A standard admission ticket for unlimited use for one day |
2-Day Ticket | Non-stop: Ticket for two consecutive days Standard: Re-entry ticket within one week |
DPA | Disney Premier Access Allows you to quickly access popular attractions, a.k.a. the Fast Track |
Early Entry | Enter 1 hour earlier than official opening time |
Broadly, admission tickets come in 1-day or 2-day options,
with DPA and Early Entry available as additional options!
Admission Ticket Price Check (as of Nov 24)

Official Website | Klook | MyRealTrip |
~$109 | ~$75 | ~$98 |
As someone who loves value-for-money travel, I always compare Disney tickets
before heading to the park.
Based on standard admission tickets, Klook is the cheapest,
and I've never had any issues booking Disney tickets through them.

Additional Discount Codes |
Spend over ~$37, get ~$1 off: 세시간전2600001 |
Spend over ~$74, get ~$2 off: 세시간전2600002 |
Spend over ~$148, get ~$5 off: 세시간전2600003 |
When you're making your purchase, simply enter the 'coupon code',
and you can get ~$2 off tickets over ~$74. Be sure to grab it in advance!
This is an exclusive link discount coupon, so it's only valid with the link above!
Good news: this coupon also works for other products,
so make sure to save it!
(But keep in mind, it might expire when the budget runs out...)
DPA and Early Entry |

1) DPA
Disney Premier Access
Think of it as a Fast Track that lets you
skip the lines for popular attractions!
You can buy them individually, one by one, but even so,
if it's for an attraction, it's ~$15 per ride.
Also, quantities are limited, so if you're visiting on a weekend,
they could sell out!!
DPA3 vs DPA8 Comparison
(The number refers to the number of attractions included)

DPA3 | DPA8 |
Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! 'it's a small world' Iron Man Experience Mystic Manor | Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! 'it's a small world' Iron Man Experience Mystic Manor Frozen Ever After Hyperspace Mountain Mickey's PhilharMagic |
~$24 | ~$51 |

The big drawback of DPA3 is that the most popular attraction,
'Frozen Ever After' is missing.
Frozen Ever After usually has the longest wait time,
so if it's not included, there's practically no reason to buy it.
If you're visiting on a weekend, I highly recommend DPA.

2) Early Entry - approximately ~$24
This is an option on the ticket that allows you to
enter 1 hour before opening.
Unless you're planning to do character greetings (taking photos),
I wouldn't particularly recommend it.

It's great for conquering attractions, but
there aren't many places to sit and rest inside the park,
so from rope drop until the fireworks,
it's physically very tiring.

I tried it myself back when I was in my 20s...
Honestly, it was just too exhausting.
If your goal is to conquer every single attraction,
it offers better value than a DPA.
Recommended Route |
The popular attractions are always set,
so just follow this!

Recommended Itinerary for Hong Kong Disneyland |
1. Frozen Ever After |
2. Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs |
3. Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars |
4. Mystic Manor |
5. RC Racer |
6. Toy Soldier Parachute Drop |
7. Hyperspace Mountain |
I recommend riding the attractions in the order above!

Having visited twice, I've always felt that
the Frozen zone is the most popular.
So, conquer Frozen first,
then move on!!
Recommended Ticket Combinations |
It's also important which ticket to buy,
so here's a breakdown based on weekend entry:

Weekend Basis |
With children - Admission Ticket + DPA |
Adults - Admission Ticket (DPA optional) |

Since there aren't many places to rest inside the park,
I don't recommend rope dropping if you're with kids!
You can also re-enter the park, so if you're with children,
you might want to check out the official Disney hotels.
It's a great option because they include early entry benefits!
(All hotel guests receive early entry benefits!)

It's also a great idea to rest at your accommodation in the middle of the day
and then return for the evening fireworks.
If you're with children, definitely buy the DPA before you go.
Even as an adult, spending the whole day there was tough...

This time, I bought the DPA for my visit,
and I don't regret it! 🥹 I bought it to enter in the afternoon and stay until the evening fireworks.
From October onwards, the weather gets absolutely lovely, so we expect a lot of visitors, especially on weekends!
Since DPA (Disney Premier Access) is limited,
if you're still deciding, I highly recommend making a reservation!

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I buy the basic Hong Kong Disneyland admission ticket at the lowest price?
As of November 24, the basic Hong Kong Disneyland admission ticket can be purchased at the lowest price from Klook for ~$75. The official website price is ~$109, and MyRealTrip is ~$98.
What attractions are included in Hong Kong Disneyland DPA3 and DPA8, and how do their prices differ?
DPA3 (~$24) includes 5 attractions such as Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars. DPA8 (~$51) includes 3 additional attractions like Frozen and Space Mountain, totaling 8 attractions, in addition to those in DPA3. Notably, the Frozen attraction is not included in DPA3.
The Hong Kong Disneyland early entry ticket costs approximately ~$24. In what cases is it recommended, and in what cases is it not?
The early entry ticket allows admission one hour before opening, offering good value for conquering all attractions. However, if your goal isn't character greetings, it's not recommended due to significant physical exertion. Rest areas within the park are limited, so it can be physically demanding to stay from opening rush until the fireworks show.
When visiting Hong Kong Disneyland with children on a weekend, what ticket combination is recommended?
For weekend visits with children, purchasing a standard admission ticket and DPA (Disney Premier Access) is recommended. Since there aren't many rest areas in the park, an 'opening rush' is not advised. It's better to use DPA to quickly experience popular attractions.
