It's hands down the most popular show at Hong Kong Disneyland.

It's like a Broadway musical stage transported right into Disneyland!

The Lion King often has international tours!

Funnily enough, I'm actually planning a trip to New York this coming May.

So, you'll need to walk there from the park entrance!

It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from the entrance.

The signage is excellent, so finding it won't be a problem.

Managing your time at Hong Kong Disneyland is key,

and checking The Lion King show schedule is absolutely essential.

They usually have 3-4 performances a day,

but I've noticed the times vary by season.

For the most accurate times on your visit day, it's best to check the Hong Kong Disneyland app!

On the day I went, the show was at 2:30 PM, so that's when I caught it.

To be honest, I tried to go early to snag a good seat.

But there were already so many people!

I think you need to arrive and queue at least 30 minutes beforehand to even get a decent spot.

3. Seating Recommendations

Just remember one thing:

If possible, try to sit on the left side immediately after entering through the door.

Those are the best seats,

followed by the right side of the entrance.

Right there, where the heart is marked!

That spot looked ideal!

If you sit on the opposite side of the entrance, you'll be able to see the performers entering and exiting,

but for most of the show, you'll be looking at their backs.

That's what happened to me! ^^

However, the silver lining was that I was sitting right in the very back row.

The very back row on this side is relatively close to the stage, and since there's a barrier behind it, you can stand to watch the show.

Standing up definitely gave me a better panoramic view of the stage, which was quite good.

But still, if you can, aim for the left side of the entrance!

That's how you'll truly get your money's worth from your Hong Kong Disneyland ticket!

Keep that in mind!

Still, no matter where you end up sitting, there's no need to feel too disappointed.

It's essentially a show designed for a round stage, so it's enjoyable from pretty much anywhere!
