If you're visiting Hong Kong, you absolutely have to try dim sum, right?
It would be a shame to go just anywhere and end up disappointed.
Today, a Hong Kong travel enthusiast (that's me!) has picked the top 4 dim sum spots in Hong Kong to share with you!

Tuen Kee Chinese Restaurant is actually a place Baek Jong-won visited himself!
It's so popular that it only operates between breakfast and lunch.
They close at 2 PM!
It's incredibly popular as a must-visit spot for those coming to trek Hong Kong's Tai Mo Shan.
I recommend securing your table quickly before exploring further.
The outdoor seats offer mountain views, making them highly popular and they fill up fast.
Even when I went, there were no outdoor spots left, so I had to grab an indoor table.
Now, it's time to choose the dim sum you crave.
You don't order from a menu; it operates more like a conveyor belt sushi restaurant!
You simply pick the dishes you want to eat.
You can choose your preferred type of tea, then brew it yourself right in the teapot.
So, shall we take a peek at what I picked up?
Such a huge variety, right?
But remember, it's first-come, first-served, so if you see something you like, grab it fast!
Whenever a new type of dim sum comes out, the staff will loudly announce it.
Since I don't speak Chinese, I just didn't pay much attention to the announcements!
I simply ate, went back to see what new dishes had appeared, and if I saw something I liked, I grabbed it.
How to Get to This Mountain-Nestled Hong Kong Dim Sum Gem
There are various ways to get there, but I'll share the most convenient and economical method!
1. Take the MTR to Tsuen Wan Station.
2. Take a green taxi (cash needed) or hop on Minibus No. 80.
Head to the taxi stand from the subway station!
You'll need to go down some stairs, and it might be a bit tricky to find, so make sure to ask a station attendant where the taxi stand is!
I ended up taking a taxi because the bus intervals were too long!
It's quite a ride, longer than you might expect!
Even on the taxi ride, I found myself healing as beautiful natural scenery unfolded before my eyes.
Another option is to take mini-bus number 80!
The waiting time for this one can range from 10 minutes when it's quick, to up to 30 minutes when it's longer.
Be sure to check Google Maps for estimated times before you hop on!
For the fare, you can prepare cash or an Octopus Card.
Hong Kong buses don't give change!

A dim sum spot with great accessibility and an atmosphere that perfectly captures that 'I'm on a Hong Kong trip' vibe!
If you're ever in the Wanchai area, this is definitely a must-visit restaurant!
Especially if you're looking for a great dim sum spot in Hong Kong, you can go without a second thought.
However, true to its local gem status, they only accept cash.
They don't even take Octopus Cards – it's strictly cash only!
