Hong Kong Burberry Shopping Guide 2026: Outlets & Best Prices

Burberry, one of those must-buy brands when you're in London.

But alas, London no longer offers tax refunds.

And what if you didn't have time to visit the Burberry factory outlet in London?

I highly recommend shopping in Hong Kong instead!

And I'm going to let you in on how to snag a Burberry coat at the best price among Hong Kong's shopping spots!

1. Full Price of Men's Burberry Coats at Hong Kong Department Stores

First things first, let's talk about the full retail price you should know before heading to the Burberry outlet!

Remember how I always emphasize checking the full price first when I share my luxury shopping tips for Hong Kong?

This is especially crucial if you're looking for a Burberry outlet around Tsim Sha Tsui.

I visited about three Burberry stores in Hong Kong department stores.

One was the K11 Musea store in Tsim Sha Tsui, which I introduced in a previous post.

Another was the SOGO Department Store in Causeway Bay.

And finally, if you're coming to Hong Kong for some serious shopping, Pacific Place is an absolute must-visit!

Pacific Place is a Hong Kong department store boasting a luxurious ambiance with plenty of high-end restaurants and luxury boutiques!

The stores are spacious and comfortable.

Prices at SOGO and Pacific Place were the same, as they are both department stores!

The full retail price for a men's Burberry coat can be quite steep.

The items I saw were in the range of HKD 22,000 to 27,000.

In US dollars, that's at least ~$2920.

Of course, the big advantage of shopping at department stores is that you'll find the widest selection of men's Burberry trench coats.

However, aside from the department store's own promotions, there aren't many special discounts.

Instead, if you build a good relationship with the sales associate, you might just get invited to private sale events!

2. Where to Find Women's Burberry Coats at Hong Kong City Boutiques?

So, what about Hong Kong's city boutiques, beyond the department stores?

Hong Kong is actually home to many multi-brand boutiques that also double as outlets, selling a variety of brands.

I headed to Causeway Bay, which is a fantastic spot to tick off items on your Hong Kong shopping list!

Among the boutiques there, you'll find two that sell clothing: ISA and CHARLES & CHARLES.

Oddly enough, CHARLES & CHARLES isn't registered on Google Maps.

But you'll find it right in front of H&M!

Unfortunately, there were no Burberry coats at ISA.

Instead of women's Burberry coats, they had women's skirts and dresses.

New items come in frequently, so you might get lucky and find what you're looking for!

Next up, CHARLES & CHARLES

This is a multi-brand boutique that sells both its own brand and luxury brands.

And here, I spotted a beautiful women's Burberry coat!

The original price was HKD 34,680, but it was on sale for HKD 14,450, nearly 60% off!

However, these downtown multi-brand boutiques don't exclusively carry Burberry.

They typically have only one or two items from various brands.

This means size options are usually quite limited.

3. Why You SHOULD Buy Your Burberry Coat at the Burberry Outlet

So, now that we've checked out the discount rates at Hong Kong department stores and downtown boutiques, how about we head to the Burberry Outlet?

It was incredibly neat and well-organized, just like a department store.

While there were some items from older seasons, they also had plenty of timeless, steady sellers.

Those bags from past seasons were 70% off!

Even the steady-selling bags were discounted by 30-50%!

And bucket bags, perfect for light carrying, were also 50% off!

So, are you ready to check out the long-awaited discounted price for a men's Burberry coat?

The original price is HKD 25,500, similar to department stores!

Plus, since it's an authentic store, not a multi-brand boutique, you can rest assured the original price isn't inflated.

The discounted price? HKD 7,650!!

A men's Burberry coat you can grab for around ~$1022!

The discount rate varied slightly depending on the design.

Even if it was from a past season, the classic designs meant it didn't really matter.

And since Hong Kong outlets only sell authentic products, you can shop worry-free!

They also had a good selection of popular sizes,

and you could try them on before buying!

There was a huge selection of women's Burberry coats with diverse designs.

The shorter the coat, the more reasonably priced it was!

The staff were just as friendly as at a department store, and they were happy to show me all the items I was interested in.

4. How to Buy Burberry Men's Trench Coats for Less

The Burberry outlet itself was offering an extra 10% discount if you spent over HKD 10,000!

If you buy bags or t-shirts along with a coat, you can save at least HKD 1000, which is over ~$146!

If you want to buy even cheaper, you'll want to target the off-season sales.

Hong Kong outlets offer a lot of extra discounts around the end of the year and beginning of the new year (December to early February), and also during the summer season in August.

You can also earn points by using department store memberships

and they often have events where you can get meal vouchers for the outlet.

If you can't make it to the outlet, another strategy is to contact a department store representative and wait for a private sale.

What's more, Hong Kong is already duty-free, so you won't need to go through any separate tax refund procedures!

That's a much better deal than buying in London, right?

If you're planning to use public transport, definitely get an Octopus Card!

It's similar to Korea's T-money card and an absolute must-have for bus rides.
