The things you need to prepare right after getting off the plane are

actually quite simple!

First off, depending on your flight to Hong Kong,

you might need to take a train to reach the immigration area.

While trains are frequent, running every 2-4 minutes,

the issue is that they accommodate a huge number of people.

So, every time you miss a train, you can expect the immigration queue to get longer.

That's why, as soon as I get off the plane,

I always run to the train platform.

If you're planning to use the restroom right after landing, you'll fall even further behind!

It's best to use the restroom after you've cleared immigration,

so try to go before the plane begins its descent if possible!

Prepare Your Passport and Hotel Address

The only document you need for Hong Kong immigration is your passport!

There are usually very few questions during the process.

They usually just ask why you're visiting and where you'll be staying,

so just make sure you know your accommodation details well.

The Google Maps app usually provides pretty accurate timetables.

Bus A11, which goes to key locations on Hong Kong Island,

has a frequency of every 30 minutes.

So, if you miss your boarding time, you might have to wait 30 minutes at the airport!
