Flying out of Hong Kong Airport in the early morning?

For those of you seeking out the best eats at Hong Kong Airport, this post is a must-read!
I'll be introducing everything from quick, easy meals to delightful desserts!

1. A Great Spot Before Check-in – Godiva Cafe

Arrived at the airport super early with nothing to do?
Feeling peckish before your flight?
There's a fantastic spot at Hong Kong Airport for a quick and enjoyable bite.
That's right, the Godiva Cafe!

✅ You can enjoy it before heading into the check-in gates after arriving at the airport.
✅ There are plenty of easy-to-enjoy menu items like salads, sandwiches, coffee, and chocolates.
✅ Recommended menu items include the Godiva chocolate drink and sandwich sets.
✅ It’s perfect for a clean, quick meal, and there's seating available right across from it.

It's the perfect spot to quickly satisfy your hunger before going through security.
And let's be honest, who doesn't love Godiva chocolate?
If you're craving something sweet, this is highly recommended!

2. Hong Kong's Signature Dessert: Lady M Cake
Attention all dessert lovers!
When you're too hungry for nothing but not quite ready for a full meal, a sweet cake is just the thing!

The ambiance is a clean, white-toned aesthetic that many will adore!
While it is an open-plan space,
it's quieter compared to other Hong Kong Airport restaurants in the food court.
This makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a dessert.

Lady M, which also has a branch in Hong Kong Central, is famous as a cake paradise.
It's a popular spot, and the airport branch was spacious with plenty of seating!

It's available inside the departure hall.
You'll find it right opposite the food court.
The menu mainly features cakes, such as milk crepes and chocolate cake.

My personal menu recommendation?
Lady M's signature Milk Crepe Cake!
Of course, it's sold by the slice,
and they have a variety of drinks too!

They also sell souvenirs, just so you know.
For these, I think you should definitely confirm if they're allowed in carry-on before you buy them!

3. Triangular Gimbap Vending Machine
What if you arrive in the early morning hours and all the restaurants are closed?
Or perhaps your flight requires you to take a train, and you've bypassed the food court?
Don't worry!
There are convenient vending machines available!

These Triangular Gimbap vending machines are located throughout the airport.
I found one right in front of Gate 215!
The best part about vending machines is that they operate 24/7!
They offer Triangular Gimbap, simple rice balls, and more.

They're especially handy if you arrive late or need a quick bite on the go.
Perfect for a quick snack before boarding your flight!
You can pay at Hong Kong vending machines using your Octopus Card!

4. A-1 Bakery Vending Machine

Another vending machine recommendation!
For those who love bread, you'll find A-1 Bakery vending machines!

A-1 Bakery vending machines are also scattered throughout Hong Kong Airport.
Look for the slightly chunky, red vending machines!
You'll even find one near Gate 215!

They sell Japanese-style bread, croissants, pastries, and more.
You can even grab an Americano from the same machine to perfectly complement your pastry!
5. Airport Cafes

What if you've already passed the food court?
Don't worry, there are plenty of cafes throughout the airport!
Specifically, I noticed a green-themed cafe near Gate 215 that sells simple sandwiches.

Beyond that, you'll find more cafes than you might expect throughout the airport.
If you're craving a warm meal, the food court is indeed the best option among Hong Kong Airport restaurants.
But for quick and easy eats, you'll find plenty of choices all over the airport.
